Als Design & Projectengineer Machinebouw werk je mee aan industriële installaties voor bulkhandling en machinebouw die van concept tot realisatie technisch sterk in elkaar zitten. Je vertaalt ideeën naar uitvoerbare 3D-modellen, detailtekeningen en productietekeningen, en denkt daarbij actief mee over montage, maakbaarheid en praktische uitvoering.

In deze rol combineer je ontwerpen met projectopvolging en schakel je vlot tussen engineering, atelier en montage. Je krijgt de kans om te werken aan maatwerkprojecten met uiteenlopende technische uitdagingen, waarbij jouw ontwerp rechtstreeks impact heeft op de realisatie op de werkvloer.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • 3D modelleren van installaties en staalstructuren in CAD, met focus op technische precisie en uitvoerbaarheid.
  • Opstellen van detailtekeningen, samenstellingen en productiedocumentatie.
  • Ontwerpen en integreren van installaties in bestaande omgevingen op basis van 3D-scans en point clouds.
  • Overleggen met atelier en montage om ontwerpen af te stemmen op praktische productie- en montagerealiteit.
  • Opmaken van stuklijsten en voorbereiden van dossiers voor productie en uitvoering.
  • Meewerken aan de opvolging van projecten van ontwerp tot realisatie.
  • Bestaande ontwerpen analyseren en optimaliseren waar nodig.

Je bent iemand die niet alleen technisch sterk is, maar ook graag meedenkt over hoe een installatie echt gebouwd en gemonteerd wordt. Dankzij jouw combinatie van inzicht, nauwkeurigheid en communicatieve aanpak zorg je mee voor oplossingen die werken in de praktijk.

Voor deze functie zoeken we een Design & Projectengineer Machinebouw met reeds een eerste ervaring en een sterke technische basis. Je voelt je thuis in een omgeving waar ontwerp en uitvoering nauw op elkaar aansluiten en waar je zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid opneemt binnen projecten.

Jouw profiel:

  • Je hebt ervaring met 3D CAD, bij voorkeur met Creo; ervaring met een ander pakket is zeker bespreekbaar.
  • Je beschikt over technisch inzicht in machinebouw, staalconstructies of industriële installaties.
  • Je denkt praktisch, oplossingsgericht en houdt rekening met maakbaarheid en montage.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken, maar functioneert ook vlot in overleg met collega’s uit atelier, montage en projectopvolging.
  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid op en volgt dossiers nauwgezet op.
  • Ervaring met point clouds, 3D-scans of Navisworks is een pluspunt.

We zoeken iemand die graag technisch verdiept werkt, detail belangrijk vindt en tegelijk het overzicht bewaart. Je hebt de maturiteit om projecten mee te dragen en de drive om ontwerpen stap voor stap te verbeteren.
