In deze functie speel je een belangrijke rol in het offerteproces voor elektrische installaties en systemen voor schepen. Als Design & Proposal Engineer maak je deel uit van het Design & Proposal-team. Je analyseert de behoeften van de klant, verzamelt de benodigde informatie en vertaalt klantwensen naar functionele conceptontwerpen. Op basis hiervan stel je technische specificaties, calculaties en offertes op, waarbij systeemeffectiviteit en betrouwbaarheid centraal staan. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's van Sales, Engineering en Projectmanagement en draagt bij aan het succesvol binnenhalen van projecten. Zodra een opdracht is bevestigd, zorg je voor een complete en zorgvuldige overdracht van het dossier aan het projectteam. Wat wordt er van jou verwacht? - Technisch ondersteunen van het salesteam bij commerciële trajecten; - Onderhouden van contacten met klanten en bespreken van aanvragen om tot de best passende offerte te komen; - Vertalen van klantwensen naar een ontwerp dat de basis vormt voor technische specificaties, calculaties en offertes; - Ondersteunen bij de verkoop van complete installaties en complexe technische systemen; - In overleg met de Manager Design & Proposal de strategie bepalen om tijdig en met de gewenste technisch-inhoudelijke nauwkeurigheid offertes uit te brengen; - Verantwoordelijk zijn voor het opstellen van betrouwbare kostprijsberekeningen en een compleet offertedossier; - Contact onderhouden met interne en externe leveranciers, toeleveranciers en onderaannemers; - Bi...
