The posting

Voor een technisch productiebedrijf in regio Genk zijn we op zoek naar een Designer CAD/CAM. In deze functie vorm je een belangrijke schakel tussen ontwerp en productie. Je werkt nieuwe producten en prototypes technisch uit en zorgt ervoor dat de productie beschikt over correcte en bruikbare tekeningen en CAD/CAM-data. Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar maatwerk, metaalbewerking en technische innovatie centraal staan. Je werkt nauw samen met de verantwoordelijke van de CAD/CAM-afdeling en ondersteunt mee de verdere optimalisatie van de productieprocessen. Als Designer CAD/CAM werk je nieuwe artikelen uit van concept tot productie. Je maakt gedetailleerde 2D- en 3D-tekeningen en werkt complexe samenstellingen technisch uit. Daarnaast ben je betrokken bij het ontwerpen en opvolgen van lasmallen voor zowel robotlassen als manueel lassen. Je vertaalt ontwerpen naar concrete productiegegevens en staat ook in voor de voorbereiding en programmering voor onder meer plaatlasers, buizenlasers en plooibanken. Daarbij hou je steeds rekening met nauwkeurigheid, maakbaarheid en de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften. Je werkt mee aan nieuwe prototypes en ondersteunt verschillende interne afdelingen bij technische vraagstukken. Ook denk je actief mee over hoe bestaande productieprocessen efficiënter en praktischer kunnen worden ingericht. Wat ga je doen?

  • Nieuwe artikelen volledig uitwerken van ontwerp tot productie en de bijhorende gegevens actueel houden.
  • Complexe samenstellingen ontwerpen en uittekenen.
  • Lasmallen ontwerpen, plannen, prijzen en opvolgen.
  • Nieuwe prototypes technisch uitwerken en begeleiden.
  • CAD-gegevens voorbereiden voor productie, CAD/CAM-operatoren en andere betrokken afdelingen.
  • Meewerken aan de programmering van plaatlasers, buizenlasers en plooibanken.
  • Het digitale tekeningenbeheer onderhouden.
  • Meedenken over de optimalisatie van procedures, werkmethodes en productieprocessen.
  • Collega's en tijdelijke projectmedewerkers ondersteunen en begeleiden waar nodig.
  • Deelnemen aan overleg rond specifieke projecten.
  • Ervoor zorgen dat ontwerp- en productieactiviteiten volgens de geldende veiligheidsprocedures verlopen.

Je hebt een technische achtergrond en voelt je goed in een omgeving waar ontwerp en productie nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn. Je werkt nauwkeurig, hebt oog voor detail en vindt het belangrijk dat een ontwerp ook in de praktijk correct uitvoerbaar is. Daarnaast breng je bij voorkeur het volgende mee:

  • Ervaring met CAD-software, bijvoorbeeld AutoCAD, SolidWorks, TopSolid of een vergelijkbaar programma.
  • Kennis van CAM-programmering en CNC-machines.
  • Affiniteit met metaalbewerking en technische productie.
  • Een nauwkeurige en gestructureerde werkhouding.
  • Je kan procedures en technische afspraken goed opvolgen.
  • Je bent bereid om samen te werken en kennis te delen met collega's.
  • Je beschikt over een goede kennis van het Engels.
