Desktop Engineer Location: Benschop Als je Desktop Engineer verzorg je de dagelijkse on-site IT-ondersteuning voor werkplekken, los je 2e-lijn incidenten op en voert hardware-installaties, vervangingen en reparaties uit. Wat ga je doen? De Desktop Engineer is verantwoordelijk voor het on-site beheren en ondersteunen van werkplekken op een grotere vestiging. De focus ligt op het bieden van kwalitatief hoogwaardige gebruikersondersteuning, het uitvoeren van hardware- en devicebeheer en het waarborgen van de continuïteit en kwaliteit van de werkplekomgeving volgens centrale IT-standaarden. De functie rapporteert operationeel aan de IT Director op locatie en functioneel (dotted line) aan de Manager IT Infrastructure voor afstemming met centrale IT-processen en governance. Taken en verantwoordelijkheden - Je verzorgt de dagelijkse on-site IT-ondersteuning voor werkplekken, lost 2e-lijn incidenten op en voert hardware-installaties, vervangingen en reparaties uit. Daarnaast ondersteun je onboarding en offboarding van devices. - Je zorgt ervoor dat werkplekken voldoen aan centrale IT-standaarden door compliance (patching, updates en security) te bewaken en basisprincipes van modern device management toe te passen. Je signaleert afwijkingen en deze escaleer je naar de juiste afdeling. - Verder biedt je hands-on support aan gebruikers, ondersteun je bij lokale uitrolactiviteiten en zorg je voor een correcte assetregistratie en documentatie. - Je werkt volgens centrale IT-processen om een consistente en kwalitatieve dienstverlening te waarborgen.
