The posting

Ter uitbreiding van onze dienst handhaving zijn wij op zoek naar een deskundige handhaving milieu (m/v/x), om ook dit aspect uit te bouwen.

Onze nieuwe collega staat in voor het uitwerken en opvolgen van het handhavingsbeleid voor de aangesloten lokale besturen, en dit op vlak van milieu. Je richt je hierbij op sensibilisering, preventie, controle en herstel.

Naast het thema milieu werk je ook mee aan de dossiers van ruimtelijke ordening. We gaan ervanuit dat handhaving op zich geen doel is maar een middel om de regels van het omgevingsbeleid te respecteren. Bij specifieke dossiers speelt de redelijkheid. Dit vereist niet alleen een nauwe samenwerking met de externe partners zoals gemeenten, politie en andere overheden. Ook een gesmeerde interne samenwerking vormt een belangrijke sleutel in de verdere uitbouw van de dienstverlening handhaving ruimtelijke ordening en milieu.

Een greep uit jouw takenpakket:

  • Je werkt mee het beleid omtrent handhaving milieu uit voor de aangesloten lokale besturen en zorgt voor een goede opvolging en uitwerking hiervan
  • Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor externe partners op vlak van het handhavingsbeleid;
  • Je beheert de lopende dossiers;
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat alle betrokken partijen steeds op de hoogte zijn van de verschillende projecten en hun voortgang;
  • Je doet, indien nodig, vaststellingen ter plaatse en treedt op als toezichthouder;
  • Je werkt nauw samen met je collega’s rond milieu, RO, GAS, en rapporteert aan je leidinggevende de voortgang.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met de werking van lokale besturen;
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en respecteert deadlines;
  • Je hebt een open communicatiestijl en kan vlot communiceren met verschillende partijen;
  • Je bent een echte netwerker en gaat in op nieuwe uitdagingen en kansen;
  • Je werkt oplossingsgericht en legt verbinding met alle actoren;
  • Je hebt interesse in ruimtelijke ordening;
  • Kennis van het overheidsopdrachtenrecht is een meerwaarde.

Vereisten

  • Je hebt minstens een master diploma in een relevante richting;
  • Je hebt een opleiding “lokaal toezichthouder” genoten;
  • Je beschikt over een geldig rijbewijs B;
  • Je slaagt in de selectieproeven;
  • Je beschikt over een blanco uittreksel uit het strafregister;
  • Je gaat akkoord met het medisch onderzoek en eventuele vaccinaties die tot de functie behoren (indien gewenst kan je hierover de nodige informatie opvragen).
