Tijdens de opleiding word je deskundig op het gebied van infectiepreventie en leer je hoe je door analyse en advies kan bijdragen aan het voorkomen van infecties bij patiënten en medewerkers. Als deskundige draag jij op een innovatieve manier bij aan de veilige zorg van de toekomst. Werken en leren in een dynamische organisatie De afdeling Infectiepreventie geeft op proactieve wijze vorm aan het infectiepreventiebeleid en ondersteunt medewerkers bij de uitvoering hiervan. Je werkt samen met 6 collega deskundigen en ontvangt leiding van een arts-microbioloog samen met de manager Cliëntzaken. Het team infectiepreventie werkt in hoge mate zelfstandig en geeft door middel van collegiale samenwerking invulling aan de planning en uitvoering van werkzaamheden. We dagen jou elke dag uit Als deskundige infectiepreventie ben je, samen met jouw collega's, verantwoordelijk voor de ondersteuning van de organisatie op het gebied van infectiepreventie. Je ontwikkelt, implementeert en evalueert het infectiepreventiebeleid. Je voorkomt infectierisico's en identificeert, registreert en analyseert ziekenhuisinfecties. Door instructies, adviezen en voorlichting te geven, draag je bij aan de preventie en bestrijding van ziekenhuisinfecties. Je neemt deel aan werkgroepen en commissies. De samenwerking met ouderenzorginstellingen in de regio is een belangrijk speerpunt. De opleiding tot deskundige infectiepreventie bestaat uit een theoriegedeelte en praktijkgedeelte en duurt ca. 22 maanden.
