The posting

Als Deskundige Milieumanagementsystemen & Duurzaamheid maak je deel uit van ons team van milieu- en duurzaamheidsexperten. Je begeleidt klanten bij het opzetten, onderhouden en verbeteren van hun milieumanagementsystemen en ondersteunt hen daarnaast in uiteenlopende duurzaamheidsvraagstukken.

De focus van deze functie ligt voornamelijk op milieubeheerssystemen of MBS (ongeveer 70%), aangevuld met duurzaamheidsprojecten (ongeveer 30%). Een gecertificeerd milieubeheerssysteem is vanaf 1 juli 2027 verplicht voor IPPC-installaties. Het MBS helpt milieuaspecten en risico’s te beheersen en de overstap naar circulariteit en klimaatneutraliteit te plannen.

Milieumanagementsystemen (70%)

  • Je begeleidt klanten bij de implementatie, het onderhoud en de optimalisatie van milieumanagementsystemen (bv. MBS & ISO 14001).
  • Je bouwt milieumanagementsystemen (MBS) op maat van de klant uit en begeleidt organisaties bij het onderhoud en de verdere optimalisatie ervan.Je helpt klanten om de juiste MilieuPrestatieIndicatoren (MPI’s) te bepalen en jaar na jaar te optimaliseren.
  • Je helpt klanten om zich goed voor te bereiden op audits en certificeringen en begeleidt hen bij het behouden ervan.
  • Je voert interne audits uit, detecteert verbeterkansen en helpt klanten om actiepunten om te zetten in concrete resultaten.
  • Je volgt evoluties in milieuwetgeving en -normen op en vertaalt die proactief naar de impact en aandachtspunten voor jouw klanten.
  • Je denkt mee na over de verdere ontwikkeling van onze dienstverlening rond milieubeheer- en milieuzorgsystemen en draagt actief bij aan de kwaliteit en de efficiëntie ervan.
  • Je bent een inhoudelijke sparringpartner en vertrouwd aanspreekpunt voor jouw klanten bij vragen rond milieubeheer- en milieuzorgsystemen.

Duurzaamheid (30%)

  • Je begeleidt klanten bij duurzaamheidsvraagstukken, o.a. Carbon Footprint.
  • Je volgt evoluties in duurzaamheid, technieken, regelgeving en markttrends op.
  • Je detecteert kansen bij klanten en denkt actief mee na over nieuwe duurzaamheidsinitiatieven.
  • Je adviseert klanten rond duurzaamheidsvraagstukken en fungeert als hun vaste aanspreekpunt.
  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in een relevante richting (milieuwetenschappen, milieutechnologie, bio-ingenieurswetenschappen, duurzaamheidsmanagement, ...).
  • Je hebt minstens drie jaar relevante ervaring met milieuzorgsystemen, specifiek met de implementatie, optimalisatie en het onderhoud ervan.
  • Je hebt kennis van interne audits, auditmethodieken of certificeringstrajecten. Je beschikt over een stevige milieutechnische basis en begrijpt hoe milieuaspecten zoals afval, water, energie, emissies en grondstoffen een impact hebben op bedrijfsvoering.
  • Je kan technische en wettelijke informatie vertalen naar een praktisch en werkbaar milieumanagementsysteem.
  • Je bent sterk in het analyseren van gegevens en legt vlot verbanden tussen milieuaspecten, bedrijfsprocessen en doelstellingen.
  • Je werkt graag met doelstellingen, KPI's en opvolgingssystemen en gebruikt data om verbeteracties te formuleren en op te volgen.
  • Heb je kennis van andere managementsystemen, zoals ISO 9001, 50001 of ISO 45001, of van duurzaamheidsmanagement, dan is dit een sterke plus.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk, klantgericht en kan complexe materie helder vertalen naar bruikbaar advies voor klanten.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, neemt verantwoordelijkheid op en functioneert tegelijk vlot binnen een team.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B.
