Heb jij een hart voor historisch erfgoed en wil je bijdragen aan het bewaren en versterken van Gent als erfgoedstad? Binnen de Dienst Stadsarcheologie en Monumentenzorg werk je mee aan het behoud en de toekomst van waardevolle panden en gebieden in een stad waar verleden en toekomst elkaar ontmoeten. Als deskundige onroerend erfgoed binnen het Team Monumentenzorg verleen je advies over bouwkundig erfgoed. Daarnaast hou je ook de inventaris van het bouwkundig erfgoed actueel en breid je die verder uit op Gents grondgebied. Zo draag je bij aan het waarmaken van de erkenning van Stad Gent als onroerend erfgoedgemeente.

Dit is dé job voor jou, want:

  • Je verleent (pre)advies op omgevingsvergunningsaanvragen die betrekking hebben op gebouwen of gebieden met een erfgoedstatuut (beschermd, opgenomen op de inventaris van het bouwkundig erfgoed, gelegen binnen de bufferzone UNESCO werelderfgoed of op het gewestplan ingekleurde woongebieden met culturele, historische en/of esthetische waarde). Daarbij zorg je voor een correcte en evenwichtige beoordeling van erfgoedwaarden.
  • Je behandelt aanvragen voor toelatingen tot handelingen aan beschermd erfgoed en formuleert onderbouwde adviezen volgens het onroerenderfgoeddecreet en de bijhorende uitvoeringsbesluiten.
  • Je verstrekt informatie aan andere stadsdiensten over erfgoedwaarden van gebouwen of gebieden waar projecten gepland worden. Zo draag je bij aan een kwaliteitsvolle stedelijke ontwikkeling met respect voor het erfgoed.
  • Je bent in staat om onroerend erfgoed zelfstandig op zijn erfgoedwaarde te beoordelen en denkt oplossingsgericht na over behoud en gepaste aanpassing, zodat het erfgoed een duurzame toekomst krijgt.
  • Je formuleert adviezen helder, correct en klantgericht en zorgt ervoor dat dossiers tijdig behandeld worden binnen de geldende termijnen. Om dat te doen durf je zelfstandig standpunten in te nemen.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de collega’s binnen de Dienst Stadsarcheologie en Monumentenzorg en krijgt begeleiding om je in te werken in de materie en de lokale erfgoedcontext van Gent.
  • Op termijn zorg je ervoor dat de informatie die op de inventaris van het bouwkundig erfgoed staat zo correct mogelijk is door jaarlijks aanpassingen door te voeren of te signaleren. Je onderzoekt dan ook hoe de inventaris van het bouwkundig erfgoed op een systematische uitgebreid kan worden en maakt hier ook werk van. Zo draag je bij aan een inventaris die het werkinstrument vormt voor een lokaal verankerd erfgoedbeleid.
