The posting

Werk je graag met mensen en wil je een zinvolle bijdrage leveren aan de maatschappij? Als detentiebegeleider begeleid je gedetineerden tijdens hun verblijf en help je hen bij hun re-integratie in de samenleving.

Wat ga je doen?

Je werkt binnen een leefeenheid van een gevangenis van Antwerpen (De Vest of De Kade) en bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor gedetineerden. Je zorgt voor een veilig en positief leefklimaat en motiveert hen om deel te nemen aan activiteiten.

  • Onthalen en informeren van gedetineerden vanaf aankomst tot vertrek
  • Ondersteuning bieden door te luisteren, motiveren en doorverwijzen naar juiste diensten
  • Toezicht houden tijdens activiteiten en wandelingen
  • Bemiddelen bij conflicten tussen gedetineerden
  • Melden van onregelmatigheden en tussenkomst bij incidenten

Selectieprocedure

  1. Screening van je diploma, benoemingsbesluit of instapkaart
  2. Een rollenspel en interview in de gevangenis van Antwerpen of in Brussel..

  • Je hebt een diploma hoger secundair onderwijs of beschikt over een instapkaart penitentiair bewakingsassistent niveau C*
  • Je bent communicatief, stressbestendig en werkt graag in team
  • Je bent flexibel en bereid te werkken in ochtend-, namiddag- of dagdiensten, ook tijdens weekends en feestdagen
  • Kennis van vreemde talen en kantoorsoftware zijn troeven

* Je kan de instapkaart behalen door deel te nemen en te slagen voor selectie ANG26150 (inschrijven is mogelijk tot 28/2/2027).
