The posting

Als Development Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering en opvolging van verschillende ontwikkelingsprojecten van de productlijn van onze klant. Concreet betekent dit het volgende:

  • Je produceert technische matrijs- en maltekeningen, detailtekeningen, tekeningen van onderdelen, zowel in 2D als 3D;
  • Je zorgt ook voor verwerkingsplannen, catalogustekeningen en interne documenten (constructietekeningen, beschrijving testopstelling);
  • Later in het proces ben je verantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling en uitwerking van specifieke onderdelen uit het assortiment en ondersteun je de Development Expert hierbij;
  • Je verwerkt data zelfstandig, zoekt de nodige informatie op en werkt verschillende alternatieven uit;
  • Je stelt logische deadlines voor jezelf en bewaakt je eigen planning;
  • Je valideert je ideeën door middel van experimenten met gebruikmaking van ons Tech Lab en 3D-printer, evenals het testen van levensgrote opstellingen in onze unieke testfaciliteit (testmuur van 15m hoog) en testfaciliteiten in het buitenland.
  • Je hebt een hoger (bachelor)diploma in Elektromechanica of Bouw maar als je niveau van vaardigheden equivalent is door ervaring ben je ook welkom om te solliciteren voor onze functie;
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring;
  • Je hebt ervaring met CAD-ontwerp en bij voorkeur al gewerkt met Inventor & AutoCad;
  • Je hebt kennis van structurele berekeningen en/of productietechnologieën voor verschillende materialen (aluminium, staal, polymeren, elastomeren, rubber ...);
  • Je hebt sterke analytische vaardigheden, bent nauwkeurig en detailgericht;
  • Je hebt sterke affintieit met onze sector en hebt bij voorkeur ervaring met raam- en deursystemen;
  • Tegelijkertijd denk je buiten de kaders, ben je een probleemoplosser en verlies je nooit het grotere geheel uit het oog;
  • Je bent vaardig in Engels.
