Bij Athora Netherlands zoeken we een DevOps Engineer (DBA) die onze database-infrastructuur naar het volgende niveau tilt! Wij zijn Athora Netherlands, een verzekeringsbedrijf met de bekende merken Zwitserleven en Reaal. Wij houden ons voornamelijk bezig met pensioenen en levensverzekeringen op de Nederlandse markt. Dat doen wij als onderdeel van een Europese groep met vestigingen in Ierland, het Verenigd Koninkrijk, België, Duitsland en Italië. Wij zijn een sterk bedrijf met ruim één miljoen klanten en wij willen de komende jaren doorgroeien tot een van de belangrijkste spelers in de snel veranderende pensioenmarkt. Daarom zoeken wij mensen die niet terugdeinzen voor verandering, die van aanpakken weten, die de ambitie hebben om resultaten neer te zetten en die daarom het beste uit zichzelf en hun team weten te halen. Slimmer samen, noemen wij dat. Wat ga je doen? Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, realiseren en beheren van stabiele en veilige databaseomgevingen, zowel on‑premises als in Azure. Daarbij lever je betrouwbare, goed presterende en schaalbare databases op die voldoen aan hoge eisen op het gebied van beschikbaarheid, security en compliance binnen een sterk gereguleerde omgeving. Dit realiseer je door databases zorgvuldig te ontwerpen, te bouwen en continu te optimaliseren op performance en beschikbaarheid. Je borgt data‑integriteit, beveiliging en auditability conform geldende sectorstandaarden en werkt hierbij nauw samen met architecten, security‑specialisten en auditors. Daarnaast draag je actief bij aan implementaties en releases, inclusief het uitvoeren van risicoanalyses en het opzetten van solide rollbackscenario's. Je adviseert over lifecycle managem...
