Als DFM (Design for Manufacturing) Specialist geef je vorm aan robuuste, waterdichte mechanische hardware die jarenlang standhoudt op het boerenbedrijf en geschikt is voor grotere productievolumes. Wat ga je doen? Als DFM (Design for Manufacturing) Specialist bij Collie ligt de focus op de maakbaarheid, duurzaamheid en betrouwbaarheid van de mechanische hardware achter de slimme halsband. De nadruk ligt op spuitgegoten behuizingen en ontwerpkeuzes die in productie én na jarenlang gebruik op het boerenbedrijf blijven werken. Vanuit CAD-ontwerpen, materiaalkeuzes, prototypes en praktijkdefecten ontstaat steeds een betere productversie, in nauwe samenwerking met testcollega's, engineers en externe partners voor spuitgieten, matrijzenbouw en productie. Taken en verantwoordelijkheden: - Verbeter de behuizing en andere mechanische onderdelen voor spuitgieten - Selecteer kunststoffen en andere materialen op basis van duurzaamheid, prestaties, maakbaarheid en kosten - Beoordeel productieprocessen en weeg technische en commerciële belangen af - Ontwikkel het huidige ontwerp door tot een product dat geschikt is voor productie op grotere schaal - Adviseer vanuit DFM-perspectief over geometrie en ontwerpkeuzes - Daag leveranciers en matrijzenbouwers uit op technische keuzes - Ontwikkel en beoordeel prototypes en opeenvolgende ontwerpversies - Werk samen met testcollega's en engineers om problemen die in de praktijk aan het licht komen te vertalen naar betere ontwerpen Het aanbod Collie biedt een ondernemende werkomgeving waarin beslissingen direct zichtbaar invloed hebben op het product.
