Als diensthoofd vrije tijd ben je regisseur over de verschillende vrijetijdsdiensten heen (jeugd, bibliotheek, cultuur en sport). Je combineert strategisch denken met nabij leiderschap en beweegt vlot tussen visie en uitvoering. Geen twee dagen zijn dezelfde… en net dat maakt deze functie zo boeiend!

Alles start met een sterke basis, en daarvoor zorg je door:

  • Medewerkers binnen jouw dienst te coachen en motiveren en een constructieve teamwerking uit te bouwen
  • Een duidelijke rol te spelen richting beleid. je adviseert het bestuur en formuleert beleidsvoorstellen je vertaalt beslissingen naar een concrete en haalbare uitvoering je volgt de acties uit het meerjarenplan op en stuurt bij waar nodig
  • Innovatieve projecten te lanceren en coördineren met oog voor participatie
  • Duurzame relaties op te bouwen met diverse partners.

Daarnaast ligt er een mooie uitdaging in het verder vormgeven van het nieuwe Vrijetijdshuis met belevingsbibliotheek. Dit doe je onder meer door:

  • de inhoudelijke samenhang tussen dienst Vrije Tijd, bibliotheek en andere initiatieven te bewaken
  • samenwerking te stimuleren en ervoor te zorgen dat het Vrijetijdshuis uitgroeit tot een levendige en toegankelijke ontmoetingsplek
  • Je hebt een masterdiploma combineert met minstens 1 jaar relevante beroepservaring en minstens 3 jaar relevante beroepservaring in een leidinggevende functie.
  • Je vindt verbinding belangrijk en dit met uiteenlopende doelgroepen.
  • Je houdt van projectmatig werken met een gezonde dosis structuur en planning
  • Je hebt aantoonbare affiniteit met het vrijetijdsdomein, relevante ervaring is een sterke troef.
