Dierenartsenpraktijk De Roeck is een tweede- en derdelijnspraktijk met een sterke specialisatie in orthopedie. Onze praktijk, gelegen in Landen, bestaat momenteel uit drie dierenartsen en een twee assistent. Om ons team verder te versterken, zijn wij op zoek naar een bijkomende assistent(e).

Een greep uit je takenpakket

  • Je zal allround tewerkgesteld worden binnen de praktijk.
  • Je beheert de agendaplanning van drie dierenartsen, volgt deze op en zorgt voor een vlotte doorstroom van de patiënten binnen de praktijk.
  • Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt in de praktijk. Je onthaalt klanten en verzorgt de telefonie.
  • Je zorgt voor de bestellingen van de materialen en de voeding.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het dagdagelijks onderhoud van de praktijk (een nette balie en wachtruimte, de was, de materialen aanvullen, …).
  • Je bent in het operatiekwartier verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie van de voorbereidingsruimte en de operatiezaal, rekening houdend met de protocollen en de steriliteit van de materialen.
  • Je steriliseert de nodige materialen na iedere operatie.
  • Je ondersteunt de dierenartsen in het nemen van bloedstalen, echografieën, RX-en, … en monitort de anesthesie mee tijdens de chirurgieën.
  • Je hebt een eerste werkervaring als Dierenartsassistent of als (Dier)verpleegkundige.
  • Je beschikt bij voorkeur over een Bachelorsdiploma Agro- en Biotechnologie met de optie Dierenzorg of een Bachelorsdiploma in Verpleegkunde.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van steriliteit en de protocollen.
  • Je bent een multitasker.
  • Je houdt van verantwoordelijkheid, uitdaging en het verhogen van je medische kennis.
  • Je bezit een volle dosis energie om met een team van specialisten samen te werken.
  • Je kan het hoofd koel houden in snel veranderende noodsituaties.
  • Je kan een helicopterview bewaren over de praktijk en neemt taken vast waar nodig.
  • Je hebt geen 9 to 5 mentaliteit en gaat steevast voor de beste zorg voor de klant en de patiënt.
