Dierenkliniek Orion staat voor kwalitatieve en vooruitstrevende diergeneeskunde. Wij zijn gespecialiseerd in tweedelijns- en derdelijnszorg en werken samen met een netwerk van ongeveer 500 doorverwijzende dierenartsen.

Met een team van gemotiveerde en deskundige medewerkers zetten wij ons elke dag in om onze patiënten de best mogelijke zorg te bieden. Bij Orion leggen we de lat hoog: evidence-based diergeneeskunde staat centraal in alles wat we doen. Onze kliniek beschikt over geavanceerde apparatuur (zoals CT- en MRI-scanners, echografie, EMG, .. ) en een moderne infrastructuur.

Door de geplande uitbreiding van onze kliniek zijn wij op zoek naar een Dierverpleegkundige die ons team komt versterken.

Jouw takenpakket

  • Je staat in voor de verzorging van gehospitaliseerde dieren, zowel bij opname als na chirurgische ingrepen.
  • Je volgt nauwgezet klinische parameters op.
  • Je voert zelfstandig bloeddrukmetingen uit bij gehospitaliseerde en geanestheseerde patiënten.
  • Je monitort en beheert vloeistoftherapieën en koppelt deze correct terug naar de behandelende dierenarts.
  • Tijdens consultaties ondersteun je de dierenarts en zorg je mee voor een vlot verloop van de agenda.
  • Je assisteert bij medische handelingen zoals bloedafnames, echografieën en radiografieën.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma Agro- en Biotechnologie, afstudeerrichting Dierenzorg.
  • Je bent een echte teamspeler en deelt graag je kennis.
  • Je hebt de drive om samen te werken met specialisten in een van de meest moderne klinieken van Vlaanderen.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk.
  • Je blijft rustig en efficiënt functioneren in stressvolle en snel veranderende situaties.
  • Je hebt oog voor detail en een nauwgezette opvolging van patiënten.
