Het Prinses Máxima Centrum bevindt zich in een volgende ontwikkelfase. In de afgelopen jaren is een organisatie opgebouwd waarin zorg, onderzoek en opleiding nauw met elkaar zijn verbonden. Vanuit de strategie Samen verder gaan richt het centrum zich de komende jaren op verdere verdieping van de samenwerking tussen zorg en research, versterking van de internationale positie en het verder ontwikkelen van de organisatie als geheel. Binnen het strategische thema organisatie ligt de nadruk op het versterken van de executiekracht en het verbeteren van de randvoorwaarden waaronder professionals hun werk uitvoeren. Daarom is gekozen voor een herinrichting van de organisatiestructuur, met een compacter directiemodel bestaande uit acht directeuren binnen zorg, research en staf. Vanuit deze ontwikkeling ontstaat de positie van Directeur Bedrijfsvoering Zorg. Positionering en samenwerking De Directeur Bedrijfsvoering Zorg vormt samen met de Directeur Medische Zorg het duale directieteam van het zorgdomein. Binnen deze samenwerking vullen beide rollen elkaar aan en wordt vanuit verschillende perspectieven gezamenlijk leidinggegeven aan de zorgorganisatie.
