DirectieWerf Logo Directeur De Vereniging Gehandicapten Zorg Nederland (VGN) is de branchevereniging voor aanbieders van zorg- en dienstverlening aan mensen met een fysieke en/of verstandelijke beperking of niet-aangeboren hersenletsel. De VGN vertegenwoordigt de branche in het publieke debat en faciliteert en ondersteunt de 190 lidorganisaties daarnaast op het terrein van inhoud van de zorg, werkgeverschap en financiering richting de partners in de zorg, overheid en de politiek. De afstemming met organisaties van cliënten en verwanten is daarbij essentieel. Bij het VGN-bureau werken circa 50 professionals die de leden onderling verbinden en bijdragen aan de verbinding van de branche met de samenleving. De VGN heeft in samenspraak met mensen met een beperking, hun naasten, zorgprofessionals en bestuurders het gewenste toekomstbeeld geformuleerd in de Visie 2030. De vereniging wil dat mensen met een beperking aan een inclusieve samenleving mee kunnen doen. Om dit voor elkaar te krijgen is inzet nodig van de gehele samenleving. In de toekomst zal voor de VGN nog meer focus komen te liggen op de relatie met werkgevers in private en publieke sectoren, het onderwijs en andere maatschappelijke spelers. Voor de komende jaren ligt er de ambitie om binnen het bureau te werken aan een grotere diversiteit onder de medewerkers. Vanwege het vertrek van de huidige directeur zoekt de VGN: Directeur VGN Inspirerende spelverdeler en verbindende schakel tussen leden, bureau, bestuur en maatschappelijke partners De nieuwe directeur is in staat de Visie 2030 uit te dragen en mede vorm te geven en daarbij met lef en strategische denkkracht ambitieuze doelen te stellen en de stakeholders hieraan te verbinden. De directeur is in staat om uitdrukkelijk buiten de gebaande paden van een klassieke brancheorganisatie te treden door nieuwe allianties te smeden.
