Bij de Radboud Universiteit vervul je een sleutelrol in de verdere ontwikkeling van het financiële domein en geef je leiding aan een transformatie naar een toekomstbestendige finance & control-organisatie. Dit omvat onder meer een nieuwe inrichting van de financiële organisatie, verdere digitalisering en een sterke focus op de financiële gezondheid van vandaag én morgen. Als strategisch en verbindend Directeur Finance & Control ben je een belangrijke adviseur van het college van bestuur en de schakel tussen de faculteiten, eenheden en de centrale organisatie. Je zorgt voor samenhang, richting en hoogwaardige sturingsinformatie voor de begroting, forecasting en strategische besluitvorming. Vanuit deze positie lever je een essentiële bijdrage aan het realiseren van de ambities van de Radboud Universiteit. Je borgt een gezonde financiële huishouding, bent eigenaar van de planning- en controlcyclus en bewaakt de meerjarensturing. Daarnaast ontwikkel je het financiële beleid en stel je organisatiebrede kaders voor sturing, beheersing en risicomanagement. Ook zorg je voor een professionele, rechtmatige en doelmatige inrichting van de inkoopfunctie, geef je leiding aan deze transformatie en zorg je dat de dienstverlening aansluit bij de organisatiedoelstellingen. Je werkt nauw samen met de vicevoorzitter van het college van bestuur en speelt een belangrijke rol in de strategische en financiële koers van de universiteit. De Radboud Universiteit staat voor belangrijke financiële en strategische opgaven. De financiële druk en noodzaak tot structurele bezuinigingen vragen om scherpe keuzes, terwijl tegelijkertijd wordt geïnvesteerd in een moderne bedrijfsvoering waarin digitalisering, data en technologie bijdragen aan slimmer en efficiënter werken.
