Algemeen beleid - De directeur staat garant voor een systematisch en cyclisch kwaliteitssysteem.

- De directeur staat achter het idee van participatief leiderschap.

- De directeur past de regelgeving van de overheid en van de inrichtende macht toe.

- De directeur staat garant voor een functioneel en geactualiseerd schoolreglement.

- De directeur weet de organisatie van de instelling op efficiënte wijze vorm te geven.

- De directeur neemt op constructieve wijze deel aan de vergaderingen van de

scholengemeenschap waartoe zijn instelling behoort.

- De directeur neemt op regelmatige basis deel aan de vergaderingen en activiteiten van het college van directeurs.

- De directeur neemt, al dan niet op vraag van de inrichtende macht, deel aan externe werkgroepen en adviesorganen.

- De directeur stimuleert de goede werking van de schoolraad en andere participatieraden.

- De directeur vervult een voorbeeldfunctie.

- De directeur reageert gepast bij de afhandeling van klachten.

- De directeur is loyaal tegenover zijn instelling en zijn inrichtende macht.

Pedagogisch beleid - De directeur vertaalt mee de missie van het GO! en de scholengroep in een schoolspecifiek beleidsplan.

- De directeur zorgt mee dat de ontwikkelingsdoelen worden nagestreefd.

- De directeur zorgt mee dat, rekening houdend met de instroom, zoveel mogelijk leerlingen de eindtermen behalen.

- De directeur zorgt er mede voor dat, rekening houdend met de instroom, zoveel mogelijk leerlingen de doelstellingen van de (minimum)leerplannen bereiken.

- De directeur zorgt mee voor gelijke onderwijskansen voor alle leerlingen.

- De directeur zorgt mee voor een positief leefklimaat binnen de instelling.

- De directeur werkt mee aan een krachtige leer- en werkomgeving.

- De directeur organiseert de leerlingenbegeleiding en volgt ze op.

Communicatiebeleid De directeur is verantwoordelijk voor een goede communicatie met het personeel en met alle andere interne en extrene actoren.

De directeur is betrokken en open en communiceert helder en transparant met alle betrokkenen.

- Je beschikt over één van de de vereiste studiebewijzen.

- Kandidaten in het bezit van het vormingsattest voor het ambt van directeur uitgereikt door het GO!, hebben decretaal voorrang op kandidaten zonder dit attest.

- Je bent doordrongen van de waarden van het PPGO en van de school. Die waarden vormen een leidraad bij het handelen als directeur.
