Onze klant is een sterk groeiende logistieke onderneming gespecialiseerd in nationaal en internationaal wegtransport. Dankzij een modern wagenpark, een eigen team van chauffeurs en een uitgebreid netwerk van onderaannemers zorgen zij dagelijks voor een efficiënte en kwalitatieve dienstverlening.

In deze functie maak je deel uit van een team van een achttal dispatchers en werk je nauw samen met Customer Service, Warehouse en de chauffeurs. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een efficiënte transportplanning waarbij je dagelijks de juiste puzzel legt en snel inspeelt op wijzigingen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Opstellen en opvolgen van de dagelijkse transportplanning.
  • Inplannen van een 70-tal eigen chauffeurs en een netwerk van onderaannemers.
  • Rekening houden met rij- en rusttijden, routes, laad- en lostijden, gewicht en volume van de ladingen.
  • Inplannen van nationale en internationale transporten.
  • Opvolgen van chauffeurs via dispatch software en boordcomputers.
  • Dagelijks verwerken en verdelen van transportopdrachten.
  • Voorbereiden van transportdocumenten.
  • Communiceren met chauffeurs, magazijnmedewerkers en collega's van Customer Service.
  • Mee opvolgen van uitzonderingen, dringende wijzigingen en onvoorziene situaties.
  • Registreren en opvolgen van transportgegevens in de planningssoftware.
  • Sporadisch onthaal van chauffeurs.
  • Actief meedenken over een efficiënte planning en continue verbetering van de transportorganisatie.
  • Je werkt dagelijks met verschillende systemen zoals een transportmanagementsysteem, dispatch software en Excel om een volledig overzicht van de planning te behouden.
  • Bacheloropleiding of gelijkwaardig door ervaring. Minstens twee jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie Goede kennis van het Belgische en Franse wegennet. Kennis van rij- en rusttijden of bereid dit snel aan te leren. Vlotte kennis van Nederlands, Frans en Engels vooral mondeling Goede kennis van MS Office (Excel, Outlook en Word). Ervaring met transport software Je bent stressbestendig en houdt het overzicht in een dynamische omgeving. Je kan snel schakelen en neemt doordachte beslissingen. Je bent communicatief sterk en werkt oplossingsgericht. Je bent bereid om in een ploegensysteem te werken.
