Hou jij van transport, planning en snel schakelen? Heb je ervaring binnen dispatching of transportplanning en krijg je energie van een omgeving waarin geen enkele dag hetzelfde is? Dan is deze functie als Dispatcher Transport misschien wel iets voor jou.

Binnen deze functie vorm je een belangrijke schakel tussen chauffeurs, klanten en transportplanners. Je houdt het overzicht, stuurt de planning bij wanneer nodig en zoekt snel naar een praktische oplossing bij onverwachte situaties.

Jouw takenpakket

  • Dagelijks opvolgen van chauffeurs en bijsturen van de transportplanning waar nodig.
  • Snel schakelen bij vertragingen, files, wijzigingen en last-minute aanvragen.
  • Herplannen van ritten en zoeken naar de meest efficiënte transportoplossing.
  • Rechtstreeks contact onderhouden met chauffeurs en klanten en zorgen voor een duidelijke communicatie.
  • Administratieve ondersteuning bieden binnen de transportafdeling.
  • Nachtplanningen opmaken zodra de werking en systemen voldoende gekend zijn.
  • Retourladingen zoeken ter ondersteuning van de Transportplanners en Dispatchers en zo bijdragen aan een efficiënte routeplanning.
  • Chauffeurs onthalen aan de balie, de nodige instructies meegeven en hen informeren over hun planning voor de volgende werkdag.
  • Ervaring binnen dispatching, transportplanning of transportcoördinatie is belangrijk.
  • Een bacheloropleiding in bijvoorbeeld logistiek is mooi meegenomen; relevante ervaring en een gelijkwaardig werk komen zeker ook in aanmerking.
  • Affiniteit met transport en logistiek en een goed begrip van de dagelijkse realiteit binnen de sector.
  • Administratief sterk en vlot met MS Office, in het bijzonder Excel. Ervaring met TMS-systemen is een pluspunt.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en voldoende assertiviteit om chauffeurs en andere betrokken partijen correct aan te sturen.
  • Een zelfstandige, proactieve en oplossingsgerichte werkhouding.
  • Snel nieuwe systemen, werkwijzen en informatie kunnen opnemen.
  • Vlotte kennis van het Nederlands. Frans en Engels kunnen gebruiken is nodig; een goede basis en de bereidheid om verder bij te leren volstaan.
  • Goed kunnen omgaan met wisselende prioriteiten en onverwachte situaties.
