Onze klant is een stabiel transportbedrijf in de Antwerpse haven , gespecialiseerd in logistiek en containertransport. Wat dit bedrijf echt bijzonder maakt, is de fijne werksfeer en het zeer ervaren team waar collega's echt willen blijven werken. Er wordt hier keihard ingezet op het welzijn van de medewerkers en het digitaal vergemakkelijken van de dagelijkse taken, zodat jij je job met plezier kan doen.

In deze rol als Transportplanner ben je de spil in de dagelijkse organisatie van het containertransport over de weg. Je zorgt ervoor dat de ritten voor vaste chauffeurs en charters vlot verlopen, voornamelijk richting de haven. Doordat chauffeurs digitaal communiceren via hun boordcomputer, geniet jij van een rustige werkomgeving waar je je kan concentreren zonder constant rinkelende telefoons. Je bent degene die de systemen slim gebruikt om onnodige lege ritten naar de kaaien te voorkomen.

Functieomschrijving

  • Inplannen van ritten voor vaste chauffeurs en charters, met de nadruk op de haven (80%) en nationale ritten (20%).
  • Aanmaken en nauwkeurig opvolgen van TAR/TAS-afspraken voor de haventerminals.
  • Digitaal opvolgen van de chauffeurs via de boordcomputers voor een efficiënte communicatie.
  • Proactief meewerken aan de overstap om de planning in de nabije toekomst volledig vanuit het eigen TMS-systeem te laten verlopen.
  • Onderhouden van een goed en professioneel contact met klanten en leveranciers.

Profiel

  • Ervaring als planner of dispatcher, bij voorkeur in het containertransport.
  • Sterk met computers en software; ervaring met een TMS-systeem is voor deze rol een absolute must.
  • Je bent bereid om in een afwisselend uurrooster te werken: de ene week van 6u tot 14u, de andere week van 10u tot 18u.
  • Een sterk geografisch inzicht en denkt graag mee over slimme routeoptimalisatie.
  • Kaainummers in de haven van Antwerpen zijn voor jou niet nieuw.
