Voor een gevestigde speler binnen de logistieke sector in regio Herzele zoeken we een Dispatcher. Met ongeveer 100 medewerkers staat de organisatie dagelijks in voor nationale en internationale transportopdrachten.

De onderneming blijft groeien en zet daarbij sterk in op een efficiënte operationele werking en verdere professionalisering.

Als Dispatcher speel je hierin een belangrijke rol. Jij zoekt naar geschikte retourvrachten, beperkt lege kilometers en draagt rechtstreeks bij aan een rendabele transportplanning.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Het zoeken en plannen van retourvrachten vormt jouw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheid, waarbij je lege kilometers zoveel mogelijk beperkt
  • Met klanten, expediteurs en transportpartners onderhandel je over tarieven en transportvoorwaarden
  • Bestaande en potentiële klanten en transportpartners contacteer je actief om geschikte retourtransporten vast te leggen
  • Samen met jouw collega’s werk je aan een efficiënte en kostbewuste transportplanning en een optimale inzet van de beschikbare capaciteit
  • Binnen het dispatchteam volg je de dagelijkse planning nauwgezet op en draag je bij aan een vlotte operationele werking
  • Je behaalde minstens een bachelordiploma, waarbij relevante ervaring binnen transport of logistiek een grote plus vormt
  • Minstens 2 jaar relevante ervaring binnen transportplanning, dispatching of een gelijkaardige functie is vereist
  • Goede kennis van MS Office, Transics en TAS en vertrouwdheid met het nationale en internationale wegennet zijn noodzakelijk
  • Naast het Nederlands communiceer je vlot in het Frans en Engels en beschik je over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, klantgerichtheid en doorzettingsvermogen
