The posting

STEF is voor haar vestiging in Oostkamp, met ongeveer 300 medewerkers, specialist in de distributie van goederen onder gecontroleerde temperaturen op (inter)nationaal vlak, op zoek naar een Dispatcher-2 ploegen (V/M/X) voor een vast dienstverband.

Uw rol ?

Als dispatcher maakt u deel uit van het dispatchteam bestaande uit 6 collega’s en staat u dagelijks in contact met chauffeurs, planners en verschillende interne afdelingen.

Operationele opvolging van transportactiviteiten

  • U volgt dagelijks de opstart van de ritten op en ziet erop toe dat alle chauffeurs tijdig vertrekken.
  • U bewaakt de voortgang van de leveringen.
  • U onderhoudt nauw contact met de chauffeurs en ondersteunt hen bij vragen of onverwachte situaties onderweg.
  • U zorgt ervoor dat dringende zendingen tijdig en correct worden afgeleverd.

Coördinatie en communicatie

  • U werkt intensief samen met de planning, customer service en interne afdelingen.
  • U communiceert proactief met alle betrokken partijen om de continuïteit van de transportactiviteiten te waarborgen.
  • U zorgt voor een efficiënte informatiestroom tussen chauffeurs en de verschillende diensten
  • U volgt onder meer wachttijden, prestaties en afwijkingen op en vertaalt deze naar concrete verbeteracties.
  • U zorgt voor een correcte administratieve opvolging van ritten, wachttijden en dagelijkse controles.

Na een grondige opleiding maakt u kennis met zowel planning als dispatching, zodat u een volledig inzicht krijgt in de werking van de transportactiviteiten.

Uw profiel?

  • U beschikt bij voorkeur over een eerste ervaring binnen transport, logistiek of een operationele omgeving. Kandidaten zonder ervaring komen ook in aanmerking
  • U bent stressbestendig en behoudt het overzicht in een omgeving waar snel schakelen noodzakelijk is.
  • U denkt oplossingsgericht en neemt initiatief wanneer zich operationele uitdagingen voordoen.
  • U communiceert vlot en professioneel met chauffeurs, collega's en andere stakeholders.
  • U bent administratief nauwkeurig en werkt gestructureerd.
  • U bent flexibel ingesteld en voelt zich thuis in een dynamische werkomgeving.
