Unique Menen is op zoek naar een dispatcher wegtransport voor de regio Antwerpen.

Wat zal je moeten doen?

Als Dispatcher wegtransport op onze site in Antwerpen volg je dagelijks de uitvoering van onze transportplanning op. Je zorgt ervoor dat alles vlot verloopt, stuurt bij waar nodig en houdt de operatie draaiende, ook wanneer het anders loopt dan voorzien. Je werkt in een operationele omgeving waar snel schakelen, overzicht bewaren en duidelijke communicatie centraal staan. Als schakel tussen planning en uitvoering neem je de regie over de dag en zorg je ervoor dat de planning ook effectief gerealiseerd wordt.

  • Je bewaakt de uitvoering van de transportplanning en volgt een 20-tal chauffeurs nauwgezet op.
  • Bij afwijkingen (vertragingen, pannes, incidenten, last-minute wijzigingen, ...) stuur je de planning gericht en doordacht bij. Je neemt snel en onderbouwd beslissingen binnen de afgesproken krijtlijnen en grijpt in waar nodig om de continuïteit van onze ritten te garanderen.
  • Dit doe je door voortdurend af te stemmen en in contact te staan met onze chauffeurs, planners en andere medewerkers.
  • Tegelijkertijd verwerk je deze wijzigingen digitaal en zorg je voor een tijdige communicatie naar de diverse betrokken partijen (bv. klanten).

Wie zoeken wij?

  • Je kan (een eerste) ervaring in dispatching, transportcoördinatie of een gelijkaardige operationele rol voorleggen.
  • Je behoudt vlot het overzicht in een dynamische omgeving en weet prioriteiten correct in te schatten.
  • Daarnaast blijf je rustig en kan je duidelijke beslissingen nemen, ook wanneer de druk toeneemt.
  • Communicatie is bij jou helder en direct, zowel naar chauffeurs als naar interne collega’s.
  • Verantwoordelijkheid opnemen en proactief handelen typeren je manier van werken. Je wacht niet af, maar neemt initiatief wanneer de situatie daarom vraagt.
  • Je beheerst het Nederlands vlot en beschikt over een goede kennis van het Frans en Engels (voornamelijk voor interne contacten).
  • Je bent bereid te werken in een uurrooster tussen 7u en 18u.
