U 7 okt 2026 Het bestuur van DJS heeft op basis van de statuten een Financiële commissie. Deze commissie controleert jaarlijks de jaarrekening en boekhouding van DJS en brengt daarna advies uit aan de ledenraad over het goedkeuren van de jaarrekening. Daarnaast is de Financiële commissie, die bestaat uit 3 leden, een sparringpartner voor de penningmeester bij het opstellen van de begroting. Binnen de Financiële commissie is een plek vrijgekomen. Achtergrond Voorheen werd door de accountant van DJS een jaarrekening samengesteld waarin alle cijfers van het afgelopen boekjaar worden gepresenteerd. Dit betreft geen inhoudelijke controle. Met andere woorden: de accountant zegt niets over of het gevoerde financiële beleid in lijn is met de begroting die eerder is goedgekeurd door de ledenraad en de financiële afspraken die we hebben met elkaar. Zo'n samenstelling zonder controle voldoet niet meer aan de bepalingen in de statuten van DJS. Vanaf 2025 werken we daarom met een Financiële commissie, die één keer per jaar in het voorjaar de jaarrekening en boekhouding doorneemt samen met de penningmeester. Het doel van het oprichten van een Financiële commissie is dus het inbouwen van een inhoudelijke controle, waarbij de commissie evalueert of het financiële beleid in lijn is met de visie van DJS en de boekhouding correct is uitgevoerd. De commissie brengt vervolgens advies uit aan de ledenraad om de financiële jaarstukken goed te keuren op de ledenraadsvergadering in juni. De leden van de Financiële commissie worden jaarlijks op voordracht van het bestuur door de ledenraad benoemd. Wie zoeken wij? We zoeken iemand die affiniteit heeft met financiën (te denken valt aan penningmeesterschap, ervaring in een kascontrolecommissie, etc.).
