Grensarbeid zoekt voor Zuyd Hogeschool een Docent Drama

Je komt terecht bij Fontys Educatie Pabo Limburg, locatie Sittard, een samenwerking tussen Fontys Hogescholen en Zuyd Hogeschool. Samen leiden we studenten op tot bevlogen leerkrachten voor het basisonderwijs. Praktijkgericht opleiden staat daarbij centraal: studenten leren in én van de beroepspraktijk.

Over de functie

Als docent Drama begeleid je studenten in hun ontwikkeling tot startbekwame leerkracht basisonderwijs. Je verzorgt inspirerend, actief en praktijkgericht onderwijs waarin studenten niet alleen hun eigen vaardigheden ontwikkelen, maar vooral leren hoe zij drama betekenisvol kunnen inzetten in hun toekomstige beroepspraktijk.

Je laat studenten ervaren dat drama zowel doel als middel kan zijn. Je helpt hen om drama in te zetten voor de creatieve en culturele ontwikkeling van kinderen, maar ook om bijvoorbeeld expressie, verbeeldingskracht, zelfvertrouwen, samenwerking en presentatievaardigheden te stimuleren.

Je hebt een duidelijke visie op de betekenis van drama binnen het basisonderwijs en weet het vak te verbinden aan de professionele ontwikkeling van toekomstige leerkrachten. Daarbij kijk je breder dan alleen je eigen vakgebied en zoek je actief de verbinding met andere kunstvakken, leergebieden en de beroepspraktijk.

De functie is breder dan alleen die van vakdocent. Binnen onze Pabo dragen docenten vanuit verschillende rollen gezamenlijk verantwoordelijkheid voor de ontwikkeling en begeleiding van studenten. Je werkt dan ook graag samen met collega’s binnen én buiten je eigen vakgebied.

In deze functie:

• verzorg en ontwikkel je onderwijs binnen het vakgebied Drama

• geef je les aan zowel voltijd- als deeltijdstudenten

• vervul je de rol van feedbackgever en geef je studenten ontwikkelingsgerichte feedback op hun handelen en professionele ontwikkeling

• begeleid je studenten bij praktijkgericht onderzoek en help je hen om onderzoek te verbinden aan vraagstukken uit de beroepspraktijk

• kun je worden ingezet als studentcoach, waarbij je studenten begeleidt bij het navigeren door hun leerproces, het maken van keuzes en het nemen van eigenaarschap over hun ontwikkeling

oa door hen te voorzien van ontwikkelingsgerichte feedback;

• kun je worden ingezet als instituutsopleider, waarbij je studenten op de werkplek begeleidt en de verbinding legt tussen opleiding, student en beroepspraktijk

• draag je bij aan onderwijsontwikkeling, toetsing en kwaliteitsverbetering

• verbind je actuele ontwikkelingen op het gebied van drama, kunst- en cultuureducatie en het basisonderwijs met het onderwijs aan de Pabo

• draag je bij aan de borging van de landelijke kennisbasis Pabo binnen jouw vakgebied.

Wat wij vragen

Je krijgt energie van het werken met studenten en weet hen op een inspirerende en activerende manier mee te nemen in jouw vakgebied. Tegelijkertijd kijk je verder dan drama alleen. Je ziet de student als toekomstig onderwijsprofessional en vindt het vanzelfsprekend om vanuit verschillende rollen bij te dragen aan diens ontwikkeling.

Daarnaast:

· ben je opgeleid als docent Drama of beschik je over een vergelijkbare relevante opleiding

. heb je bij voorkeur een pedagogische en/of onderwijskundige achtergrond

· heb je aantoonbare ervaring binnen of met het basisonderwijs

· beschik je over brede kennis van kunst- en cultuureducatie en kun je drama daarbinnen duidelijk positioneren

Je werkt in een betrokken en professioneel team waarin docenten, studentcoaches en instituutsopleiders nauw samenwerken. We delen kennis, ontwikkelen samen onderwijs en leren van én met elkaar. De verbinding met het basisonderwijs is sterk. Daarom vinden we het belangrijk dat je de context van het primair onderwijs kent en vanuit die praktijk studenten kunt begeleiden en inspireren.
