Betekenisvol werk Jij geeft je leerlingen lessen voor het leven, omdat je de verbinding weet te leggen tussen de lesstof en onze maatschappij. Waarom zijn je leerlingen gebaat bij een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal? Jij legt het ze niet alleen uit; je maakt het duidelijk met sprekende voorbeelden. Zo gaat het vak voor hen leven. Je: - geeft les aan mavo - havo leerlingen in de onder- en bovenbouw. - bereidt je leerlingen voor op het eindexamen en het leven erna. - denkt mee binnen de sectie Nederlands over optimalisering van het vak. Je creëert een veilige sfeer in de klas, waarbij alle leerlingen zichzelf kunnen zijn en vragen durven stellen. Je gaat met je leerlingen gesprekken aan over het leven en geeft ze de ruimte voor hun mening, twijfel of onbegrip. De ingangsdatum van deze vacature is zo spoedig mogelijk. Over ons Portus Scholengroep Bij de Portus-scholen in Rotterdam-Zuid, Barendrecht en Ridderkerk maak jij elke dag het verschil. Of je nu docent bent, in het management werkt of een ondersteunende rol hebt: jouw bijdrage telt. We combineren sterke onderwijsconcepten zoals (t)huiswerkvrij en tweetalig onderwijs met een prettige, collegiale werksfeer. Je krijgt de ruimte om zelfstandig te werken, verantwoordelijkheid te nemen en jezelf verder te ontwikkelen. Portus Meridiem Portus Meridiem is een school voor mavo, havo en vwo op Rotterdam-Zuid. Op dit moment zijn we nog gevestigd in Vreewijk. Ons gebouw in Stadionpark is klaar en we verhuizen in juli 2026. In augustus 2026 starten we in ons nieuwe schoolgebouw. Pal naast De Kuip bouwen we verder aan onderwijs dat is ingericht op gepersonaliseerd leren. Op basis van onze kernwaarden: persoonlijk, sociaal, nieuwsgierig en optimistisch willen we iedere leerling, ongeacht hun achtergrond...
