Als docent op De Fontein investeer je veel in de relatie met leerlingen. Je bent je bewust van de grote rol die deze relatie speelt in hun motivatie om te leren. Niet alleen ben je pedagogisch sterk, je bent echt een onderwijsvernieuwer die in goed contact

staat met het gehele pedagogische klimaat. Naast je rol als docent zul je ook coach (mentor) zijn.

Natuurlijk ben je goed in je vak. Je beschikt over actuele vakkennis en een breed repertoire op het gebied van klassenmanagement en didactische werkvormen. Vanuit taalbeleid is elke vakdocent bewust bezig met taal in zijn of haar les.

Onze menselijke maat zie je ook terug in de samenwerking met collega’s. Als docent Nederlands kom je te werken in een kleine sectie met twee andere bevlogen en ervaren collega's en leg je zelf dwarsverbanden met collega’s van andere secties en andere GSF-scholen.

Daarnaast werk je in teamverband aan het onderwijs.Op De Fontein leren we veel van en met elkaar. Ook van jou verwachten we dat je hiervoor open staat en dat je jezelf voortdurend blijft ontwikkelen.

Voor het vak Nederlands werken we met de methode Nieuw Nederlands, waarbij uiteraard ook gebruik wordt gemaakt van moderne digitale hulpmiddelen. Je hebt daarnaast ook zelf de vrijheid en ruimte om je lessen vorm te geven. De sectie Nederlands bestaat nu uit

2 personen en met jou erbij zal de sectie 3 vakdocenten bevatten. Daarnaast kun je coach van een klas worden. In je eerste jaar op De Fontein ben je dat meestal samen met een collega.
