Docentenplein logo - Vacature Docent NT2 in Nijmegen Omschrijving Het Pontem College zoekt op korte termijn enthousiaste docenten: Docent NT2 mogelijk i.c.m. burgerschap, drama, rekenen, ict etc Waar ga je werken? Het Pontem College is een EOA-school (Eerste Opvang Anderstaligen) die het eerste onderwijs aan nieuwkomers verzorgt. Het Pontem College biedt een veilige leeromgeving waarin anderstalige leerlingen tussen 12-18 jaar zich kunnen ontwikkelen tot zelfbewuste en respectvolle burgers, die volledig kunnen deelnemen aan de Nederlandse samenleving. Momenteel bestaat een groot deel van de leerlingenpopulatie uit leerlingen die met of zonder hun ouders uit hun thuisland zijn gevlucht. Wat ga je doen? De vacature betreft het verzorgen van met name lesuren NT2. Naast de lessen NT2 behoort het mentoraat tot het takenpakket en is het mogelijk dit te combineren met andere vakken. Wij vinden het belangrijk dat je bijdraagt aan de onderwijskundige ontwikkelingen van het team. Onze belangrijkste taak als EOA is de leerlingen de Nederlandse taal te leren en wegwijs te maken in Nederland. Wat vragen we van je? Wij zijn op zoek naar een collega die ervaring en affiniteit heeft met onderwijs aan anderstaligen. Je bent je ervan bewust dat onze leerlingen een ander leerproces doorlopen dan een reguliere VO-leerling. Ook moet je ten minste in het bezit zijn van een passende tweedegraads onderwijsbevoegdheid en/of een PABO-bevoegdheid met bereidheid tot het volgen van een opscholingstraject vmbo. Voorkeur gaat uit naar een afgeronde NT-opleiding2.
