The posting

  • Je stelt in overleg met je promotoren een onderzoeksplan en bijbehorende onderzoeksmethoden op en verzorgt de nodige administratie voor een vlot doctoraatstraject.
  • Je voert het onderzoek efficiënt en volgens een hoog kwaliteitsniveau uit.
  • Je rapporteert de voortgang aan je promotoren en doctoraatscommissie en presenteert je onderzoek op wetenschappelijke conferenties.
  • Je verdedigt je proefschrift openbaar en streeft naar publicaties in wetenschappelijke tijdschriften.
  • Je dient aanvragen in voor interne en externe predoctorale financiering.
  • Je publiceert wetenschappelijke artikelen die verband houden met het onderzoeksproject.
  • Je neemt een beperkt aantal onderwijs- en onderzoeksgerelateerde ondersteuningstaken op binnen de Faculteit Rechten.
  • Je behaalde een masterdiploma in de sociale wetenschappen of humane wetenschappen (bijvoorbeeld rechten, criminologie of psychologie), of je behaalt dit diploma uiterlijk op het moment van aanstelling.
  • Je dient een Engelstalig onderzoeksvoorstel (https://medialibrary.uantwerpen.be/files/59317/e0bbd09f-bc86-408b-b47f-48aae0e31f5c.pdf) in voor het onderzoek dat je wilt ontwikkelen binnen het domein van welzijn in juridische beroepen. Dit voorstel mag maximaal 5 pagina's tellen en bevat de volgende onderdelen: state of the art (stand van zaken), onderzoeksdoelstellingen, methodologie en bibliografie. Het voorstel moet aantonen dat het mogelijk is om het doctoraat succesvol binnen vier jaar af te ronden.

De voorgaande voorwaarden zijn ontvankelijkheidsvoorwaarden.

  • Je kunt uitstekende studieresultaten aantonen.
  • Je hebt een sterke interesse in welzijn en strafrecht.
  • Ervaring met empirische onderzoeksmethoden en interdisciplinair onderzoek is een pluspunt.
  • Je hebt een goede mondelinge en schriftelijke kennis van het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je onderzoekskwaliteiten sluiten aan bij het facultaire en universitaire onderzoeksbeleid.
  • Je didactische competenties sluiten aan bij de onderwijsvisie van de Universiteit Antwerpen.
  • Je werkt met aandacht voor kwaliteit, integriteit, creativiteit en samenwerking.
  • Je bent een teamspeler die zich gemakkelijk integreert in een onderzoeksgroep en actief bijdraagt aan een collegiale werkomgeving.
