Als doktersassistent op de holding van het Hartcentrum ben je een belangrijke schakel in de patiëntenzorg. Je begeleidt patiënten die een procedure ondergaan op de hartkatheterisatiekamers (HCK) of angiokamers van het nieuwe CardioVasculair interventiecentrum (CVIC). Je werkt met patiënten die bijvoorbeeld komen voor een hartkatheterisatie, dotterprocedure, ICD- of pacemakerimplantatie of -wisseling, ablatie, MRI of CT-scan. Voor patiënten kan dit een spannende dag zijn. Jij zorgt ervoor dat zij goed voorbereid aan hun behandeling beginnen en de juiste nazorg krijgen. Je houdt daarbij steeds oog voor de patiënt en stemt je zorg af op wat iemand nodig heeft. Je voert onder andere de volgende werkzaamheden uit: - Je verricht verpleegtechnische handelingen, zoals infuus prikken, ecg's maken, vitale functies meten en registreren en hechtingen verwijderen. - Je voert opname- en ontslaggesprekken met patiënten. - Je ondersteunt de verpleegkundigen tijdens de verschillende diensten. - Je beheert een eigen takenpakket en houdt overzicht wanneer de planning verandert. - Je schakelt gemakkelijk tussen patiëntenzorg, praktische werkzaamheden en administratie. Geen dag verloopt precies volgens planning. Daarom is het belangrijk dat je snel kunt schakelen, prioriteiten stelt en rustig blijft wanneer de situatie verandert. Wat neem je mee?
