Op de polikliniek Oncologie en Hematologie draait jouw werk om plannen, organiseren en overzicht houden. Samen met een betrokken team zorg je voor een goed georganiseerde polikliniek. Wat ga je doen? Je werkt op HMC Antoniushove in Leidschendam, onze locatie voor oncologische zorg. Het team bestaat uit 8 andere doktersassistenten. Daarnaast heb je veel contact met ongeveer 20 medisch specialisten, verpleegkundig specialisten en consulenten. Samen bieden jullie zorg aan patiënten van jong tot oud. De oncologische en hematologische ziektebeelden zijn uiteenlopend. Ook verschillen patiënten in achtergrond en zorgvraag. HMC Antoniushove is een kleinere locatie van HMC. Dat zorgt voor een gemoedelijke sfeer en korte lijnen. Collega's kennen elkaar en weten elkaar gemakkelijk te vinden. De locatie is goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer en biedt parkeermogelijkheden. Een belangrijk deel van je werk bestaat uit planning en administratie. Daarnaast heb je contact met patiënten aan de balie en telefonisch. Je beantwoordt vragen en geeft praktische informatie over afspraken en onderzoeken. Concreet: - plan en coördineer je afspraken; - beantwoord en verwerk je telefoontjes; - beheer je patiëntendossiers en verwerk je gegevens zorgvuldig; - geef je praktische informatie over afspraken en onderzoeken. Op drukke momenten stel je prioriteiten en houd je overzicht. Zo blijft het werk goed georganiseerd. Heeft een patiënt extra aandacht nodig? Dan luister je goed en help je diegene rustig verder.
