Als donorarts gebruik je jouw medische blik om per situatie tot veilige donatiezorg te komen. Jouw nieuwe baan Bij iedere donorkeuring beoordeel je of bloed- of plasmadonatie medisch verantwoord is. Als donorarts kijk je naar de voorgeschiedenis, het medicatiegebruik, de actuele gezondheid en mogelijke risico's voor donor of ontvanger. Tijdens keuringen en intakegesprekken stel je gerichte vragen en neem je zelfstandig beslissingen binnen de geldende richtlijnen. Je geeft akkoord, adviseert uitstel of besluit tot afkeuring. Daarbij leg je duidelijk uit wat jouw besluit betekent en waarom. Op de afnamelocatie ben je het medische aanspreekpunt. Je beoordeelt klachten of reacties rondom de donatie, begeleidt donors wanneer medische zorg nodig is en ondersteunt collega's bij medische vragen. Ook bewaak je de kwaliteit van donorkeuringen en denk je mee over verbetering, scholing en projecten. Je werkt op verschillende afnamelocaties in de regio. De reistijd vanaf je woonadres is maximaal ongeveer 1 uur. Nachtwerk hoort niet bij deze functie en de weekendbelasting is beperkt. Jouw nieuwe werkplek Je werkt bij een organisatie die verantwoordelijk is voor de bloedvoorziening in Nederland. Dagelijks zetten duizenden vrijwillige donors zich in om levens te redden. Achter iedere donatie schuilt een patiënt die afhankelijk is van bloedproducten. Binnen het cluster Den Bosch / Eindhoven / Venlo werk je samen met betrokken professionals die kwaliteit, veiligheid en persoonlijke aandacht belangrijk vinden.
