Wat ga je doen?

Als Customs Agent zorg je ervoor dat goederen wereldwijd vlot en correct worden ingeklaard. Je bent de brug tussen klanten, douaneautoriteiten en interne teams – met één doel: een zorgeloze, conforme logistieke flow.

Jouw takenpakket bestaat uit:

  • Toezien op een correcte naleving van alle douane- en compliancevoorschriften.
  • Contact onderhouden met douaneautoriteiten en andere instanties bij vragen of dossiers.
  • Inboeken, opvolgen en vrijgeven van lucht-, zee- en wegtransportdossiers volgens KPI’s.
  • Zorgen dat de facturatie volledig en correct kan worden uitgevoerd.
  • Proactieve communicatie met klanten over hun dossiers en opvolging van hun SOP’s.
  • Tijdig beantwoorden van e-mails en telefoons.
  • Rapporteren volgens klantafspraken en ondersteuning bieden bij terugbetalingsdossiers.
  • Identificeren van procesverbeteringen in systemen, werkmethodes en klantdossiers

Je zorgt voor een hoge kwaliteit en nauwkeurigheid in alle douaneaangiften. Je houdt deadlines nauwlettend in de gaten, werkt gestructureerd via het werkbord en zorgt dat alle klantprocedures up-to-date blijven. Dankzij jouw heldere communicatie en oplossingsgerichte aanpak krijgen klanten een service waarop ze kunnen vertrouwen.

  • Je hebt al ervaring binnen douane, logistiek of een gelijkaardige administratieve functie.
  • Je kent de belangrijkste douaneprocedures of bent bereid je hierin snel in te werken.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en behoudt overzicht – ook wanneer er veel dossiers tegelijk lopen.
  • Je communiceert vlot met klanten, collega’s en officiële instanties, zowel schriftelijk als telefonisch.
  • Je hebt een proactieve instelling: je ziet werk, denkt mee in oplossingen en houdt ervan om procedures te verbeteren.
  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid, volgt deadlines op en zorgt dat afspraken worden nagekomen.
  • Je bent stressbestendig, klantgericht en professioneel.
