The posting

Als douanedeclarant zorg jij binnen het douane team voor de verwerking en opvolging van douane administratie ter voorbereiding naar de douanedeclarant of zelfs opmaak van douanedocumenten bij bestaande of nieuwe klanten.

• Je vervaardigt alle voorkomende douaneaangiftes voor (grensoverschrijdend) vervoer conform wettelijke voorschriften.

• Je stelt dossierinstructies op voor het juist afhandelen van import- en exporttransacties en de bijbehorende documenten.

• Je signaleert onregelmatigheden op douanegebied en rapporteert deze aan je leidinggevende.

• Je onderhoudt contacten met de douane, beantwoordt vragen van klanten en adviseert hen inzake operationele aangelegenheden.

• Indien nodig, dien je na overleg met de leidinggevende bezwaarschriften, BTI-aanvragen (Bindende Tarief Inlichting) en aanzuiveringen in, en voer je eventuele andere correspondentie met de Douane.

• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opmaken van BFV-aangiftes en de correcte opvolging hiervan.

• Je maakt accijnsaangiftes op en vraagt toelatingen aan voor de uitbating van douaneopslagplaatsen en/of BTW-entrepots.

• Je vraagt vergunningen aan en bent verantwoordelijk voor de volledige afhandeling van geschillendossiers.

• Je past douanetarieven toe aan de hand van de nomenclatuur.

• Je voert je werkzaamheden uit met inachtneming van de wettelijke regelgeving en normen omtrent veiligheid en milieu, zoals ISO 9001/14001, ADR, schadepreventie en milieuwetgeving.

• Idealiter heb je werkervaring in douane én een stevige administratieve basis.

• Je hebt kennis van vervoers-, douane- en BTW-wetgeving.

• Je bent bekend met expeditie, transport en logistiek.

• Je hebt een goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels, zowel geschreven als gesproken.

• Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt de nodige sociale vaardigheden om externe contacten te onderhouden.

• Je kunt zelfstandig werken en goed functioneren in een team. Daarnaast durf je met de nodige assertiviteit gesprekken te voeren, zonder je klantgerichtheid uit het oog te verliezen.

• Je bent getraind in MS Office en je kan je ook snel inwerken in andere programma’s.
