The posting

Voor onze klant, een petrochemische site gelegen in de Kempen, zijn wij op zoek naar een E&I Designer met kennis van P&ID en de verschillende ontwerpprocessen.

  • Je voert het design uit van nieuwe installaties of past het design van bestaande installaties aan
  • Je gaat ter plaatse en doet opmetingen, verifieert bestaande schema’s en maakt correcties waar nodig
  • Je maakt schetsen en high level designs tijdens het basic design
  • Je maakt gedetailleerde schema’s op tijdens het detailed design
  • Je duidt veranderingen tijdens het design aan op de P&ID en bespreekt deze met de procesingenieur
  • Je verzorgt de opmaak van kabel-, klemmen-, instrumentatie- en verbruikerslijsten en houdt deze up-to-date
  • Je pleegt overleg met de DCS-ingenieur over de PLC in- en uitgangen
  • Je maakt constructiepakketten op met alle nodige info voor een goede uitvoering
  • Je begeleidt mogelijke contractors in-the-field en geeft uitleg over het design en het uit te voeren werk
  • Tijdens de constructieperiode ga je dagelijks mee kijken of de uitvoering volgens het ontwerp verloopt
  • Je zoekt eventuele fouten uit zorgt dat deze worden opgevolgd
  • Je verwerkt documenten en schema’s volgens de as-built richtlijnen
  • Je biedt begeleiding tijdens de commissioning door ad-hoc opzoekwerk of designwerk uit te voeren
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat alle documenten correct in het systeem worden geborgd en houdt deze up-to-date
  • Je maakt een inschatting van de nodige doorlooptijd voor de uitvoering van de opdracht en volgt de opgestelde planning op
  • Je houdt in het design rekening met de kosten van de uitvoering
  • Je maakt rapportages op en treft corrigerende maatregelen
  • Je beschikt over minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring als E&I Designer
  • Je beschikt over de nodige technische kennis van complexe installaties
  • Je bent gekend met verschillende ontwerpsoftware en -processen
  • Je bent een teamplayer maar kan een project ook op zelfstandige basis uitwerken
  • Je bent nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor detail
  • Je bent nieuwsgierig en durft vragen te stellen
