The posting

Voor een chemisch productiebedrijf zijn we op zoek naar een Reliability Engineer E&I. In deze functie zorg je ervoor dat de elektrische en instrumentatie-installaties op de site betrouwbaar, veilig en beschikbaar blijven.

Je kijkt daarbij verder dan het oplossen van storingen. Je analyseert het aanwezige equipment, bepaalt welke installaties bedrijfskritisch zijn en vertaalt dit naar de juiste onderhoudsstrategie. Waar vandaag nog voornamelijk preventief wordt gewerkt, help jij bovendien mee de stap te zetten naar predictief en datagedreven onderhoud.

Dit is geen klassieke onderhoudsfunctie waarbij je voornamelijk bezig bent met de dagelijkse storingen. Je bevindt je eerder op het kruispunt van E&I, maintenance en reliability engineering.

Je analyseert hoe installaties presteren, waar de grootste risico's liggen en welke acties nodig zijn om de beschikbaarheid op langere termijn te verbeteren. Dat kan gaan van een aangepaste onderhoudsstrategie of een kritisch reserveonderdeel tot standaardisatie, een vernieuwingsproject of de toepassing van predictief onderhoud.

Zo help je mee om de E&I-installaties stap voor stap veiliger, betrouwbaarder en beter voorspelbaar te maken.

Als Reliability Engineer E&I ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Bepalen van de kriticiteit van het geïnstalleerde E&I-equipment en hieruit de juiste onderhoudsstrategie afleiden
  • Analyseren welke componenten bedrijfskritisch zijn en ervoor zorgen dat de noodzakelijke spare parts beschikbaar zijn
  • Optimaliseren en standaardiseren van equipment en onderdelen om de magazijnvoorraad beheersbaar te houden
  • Signaleren wanneer installaties of componenten het einde van hun levensduur bereiken en hiervoor vernieuwings- of verbeteringsprojecten opstarten
  • Onderzoeken waar onderhoud kan evolueren van preventief naar predictief onderhoud
  • Meewerken aan nieuwe technieken en algoritmes waarmee mogelijke defecten vroegtijdig kunnen worden voorspeld
  • Beheren en actualiseren van technische data in de verschillende beheersystemen
  • Opvolgen, analyseren en rapporteren van reliability- en onderhouds-KPI's
  • Uitwerken van SIL-testsheets voor de aanwezige installaties
  • Ondersteunen van HAZOP-studies en uitvoeren van risicoanalyses op bestaande installaties
  • Vertalen van analyses en nieuwe inzichten naar concrete verbeteringen voor onderhoud en betrouwbaarheid
  • Informeren en opleiden van het E&I-team over nieuwe technieken, verbeteringen en lopende projecten
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een technische richting zoals automatisatie, meet- en regeltechniek, elektrotechniek of elektriciteit
  • Je hebt enkele jaren relevante ervaring binnen E&I-onderhoud, reliability of maintenance engineering
  • Ervaring binnen de chemische, petrochemische of procesindustrie is een sterke troef
  • Je beschikt over een basiskennis van PLC-systemen
  • Je kunt vlot werken met SAP, Excel en de gangbare Office-toepassingen
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld en gebruikt data om technische en onderhoudsbeslissingen te onderbouwen
  • Je kunt zelfstandig prioriteiten bepalen en neemt ownership over je dossiers
  • Je werkt tegelijkertijd graag samen met maintenance, engineering en het E&I-team
  • Veiligheid is voor jou een vanzelfsprekend onderdeel van iedere technische beslissing
  • Je denkt vooruit en probeert problemen te identificeren voordat ze tot stilstand of storingen leiden
  • Je deelt technische kennis actief met collega's en helpt het team verder ontwikkelen
