The posting

Voor een Belgische hoofdrolspeler in het energielandschap zoekt JOBS IN MIND een Electrical Designer Substation. Je werkt mee aan de ontwikkeling en modernisering van het Belgische hoogspanningsnet en helpt zo mee bouwen aan een betrouwbare en duurzame energievoorziening.

Jouw rol

Als Technical Designer Substation werk je mee aan de studie en het ontwerp van nieuwe hoogspanningsinstallaties en de aanpassing van bestaande installaties. Je vertaalt technische informatie naar duidelijke plannen en documenten en werkt daarbij nauw samen met Project Engineers, Project Leaders en andere designers.

Je taken omvatten onder andere:

  • Meewerken aan haalbaarheids- en voorstudies
  • Zelfstandig uitwerken van designstudies en technische plannen
  • Opstellen van vergunnings- en uitvoeringsplannen
  • Uitwerken van inplantingsplannen, uitrustingsplannen en plannen van staalstructuren
  • Opstellen van plannenlijsten, klemmenlijsten en staalbouwlijsten
  • Afstemmen met andere disciplines zoals Powerlinks en Civil Works
  • Bewaken van kwaliteit, normen en technische standaarden
  • Ondersteunen van de Project Leader en Project Engineer tijdens de uitvoering
  • Samenwerken met externe studiebureaus en opvolgen van hun studies

Afhankelijk van je ervaring kan je ook instaan voor kwaliteitscontroles, het begeleiden van nieuwe collega's en het meewerken aan procesverbeteringen.

Jouw profiel

  • Bachelor of A2 in een technische richting, zoals elektriciteit, elektromechanica, automatisering, bouwkunde of engineering
  • Basiskennis elektriciteit
  • Ervaring met MS Office en een 3D CAD-pakket
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, proactief en oplossingsgericht
  • Je bent communicatief, klantgericht en werkt graag in team
  • Je spreekt en schrijft uitstekend Nederlands

Ook als starter?

Zeker. Voor startende designers is er een intensief opleidingstraject van 4 maanden. Je leert de belangrijkste onderdelen van een hoogspanningspost kennen, wordt opgeleid in de gebruikte designtools en werkt met praktijkgerichte oefeningen en realistische projecten.

Daarnaast zijn er werfbezoeken en bezoeken aan operationele hoogspanningsposten. Na de opleiding ben je klaar om je eerste opdrachten als Technical Designer Substation op te nemen.
