The posting

Je komt terecht bij een grote internationale industriële speler op de site in Langerbrugge, regio Gent. Het bedrijf produceert hoogwaardig kranten- en magazinepapier op basis van 100% gerecycleerd papier.

Het gaat om een grote procesomgeving met een uitgebreid technisch machine- en installatiepark. De site beschikt onder andere over een eigen elektriciteitsnet en tal van industriële elektrische installaties, waardoor elektriciteit en elektrische bedrijfszekerheid een belangrijke rol spelen binnen de technische dienst.

Ook duurzaamheid is sterk aanwezig binnen de productieomgeving. De site beschikt over twee biomassa-energiecentrales die alle nodige processtoom produceren. Samen met drie windturbines zorgen deze ervoor dat meer dan 80% van de benodigde elektriciteit lokaal wordt opgewekt.

Veiligheid staat centraal binnen de organisatie. Daarnaast wordt sterk geïnvesteerd in technische opleiding en ontwikkeling, zodat je jouw expertise binnen industriële elektriciteit verder kunt verdiepen.

Jobomschrijving

Als Electrical Maintenance Engineer ben je binnen de onderhoudsorganisatie één van de technische aanspreekpunten voor elektriciteit. Je bewaakt de betrouwbaarheid en beschikbaarheid van de elektrische installaties en wordt ingeschakeld wanneer diepgaande technische expertise nodig is.

  • Je staat mee in voor de uitbating en het onderhoud van het elektriciteitsnet met spanningen tot 150 kV.
  • Je waakt over de veilige en betrouwbare werking van het elektrische netwerk.
  • Je bent vanuit maintenance technisch betrokken bij verschillende elektrische installaties op de productiesite.
  • Hieronder vallen onder andere het verlichtingsnet, branddetectiesystemen, frequentieomvormers en vermogenschakelaars.
  • Je komt in aanraking met technische systemen en componenten van verschillende grote industriële fabrikanten.
  • Als Electrical Maintenance Engineer ondersteun je de onderhoudsafdeling bij complexere elektrische problemen en storingen.
  • Je wordt voornamelijk betrokken wanneer problemen verder gaan dan het dagelijkse standaardonderhoud en bijkomende technische expertise nodig is.
  • Je analyseert technische problemen en zoekt samen met de betrokken collega's naar een duurzame oplossing.
  • Vanuit jouw elektrische expertise geef je technisch advies aan onder andere maintenance, productie en de projectafdeling.
  • Je neemt ook kleinere onderhoudsgerelateerde elektrische projecten voor jouw rekening.
  • Voor de verschillende technische domeinen werk je samen met gespecialiseerde teams en hun leidinggevenden.
  • Je houdt rekening met veiligheid, bedrijfszekerheid, technische kwaliteit en kosten bij het uitwerken van oplossingen.

Voor deze functie als Electrical Maintenance Engineer zoeken we een ervaren elektrisch profiel dat graag dicht bij de techniek staat. Je hebt voldoende expertise om complexe elektrische problemen te analyseren en andere technische collega's vanuit jouw vakgebied te adviseren.

  • Je beschikt over een master Industriële Wetenschappen Elektrotechniek, Elektromechanica met sterke elektrische specialisatie of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je hebt enkele jaren relevante ervaring binnen elektrisch onderhoud in een industriële productie- of procesomgeving.
  • Ervaring binnen een industriële omgeving is voor deze functie belangrijk.
  • Je beschikt over een grondige kennis van industriële elektriciteit.
  • Kennis van middenspanning en/of hoogspanning is een sterke troef.
  • Ervaring met frequentieomvormers, vermogenschakelaars, elektrische verdeelinstallaties of gelijkaardige industriële systemen is interessant.
  • Je bent sterk in het analyseren en oplossen van complexe technische problemen.
  • Je denkt pragmatisch en zoekt naar oplossingen die technisch betrouwbaar én praktisch uitvoerbaar zijn.
  • Je neemt initiatief en kunt zelfstandig technische vraagstukken opnemen.
  • Je kunt werkzaamheden en kleinere projecten efficiënt plannen en organiseren.
  • Je werkt kostenbewust zonder veiligheid en kwaliteit uit het oog te verliezen.
  • Je communiceert vlot met techniekers, engineers, productie en andere interne afdelingen.
  • Je werkt graag in team, maar kunt technische dossiers ook zelfstandig behandelen.
  • Veiligheid en kwaliteit zijn voor jou absolute prioriteiten.
  • Nederlandse taalkennis is een must.
