Als Elektrisch Engineer Machinebouw ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het complete elektrische ontwerp van geavanceerde machines en productiesystemen. Je werkt nauw samen met werktuigbouwkundige engineers, softwareontwikkelaars en projectleiders om klantspecifieke oplossingen te realiseren. Vanaf de ontwerpfase tot en met de inbedrijfstelling ben jij de technische specialist die zorgt dat alle elektrische systemen perfect functioneren en voldoen aan de hoogste kwaliteitseisen. Je analyseert de technische specificaties en vertaalt deze naar functionele elektrische ontwerpen. Daarbij houd je rekening met veiligheidsnormen, energiemanagement en toekomstige uitbreidingsmogelijkheden. Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor elektrische vraagstukken en adviseert collega's en klanten over de beste technische oplossingen. Jouw werkzaamheden omvatten: - Ontwerpen van elektrische schema's en besturingskasten voor complexe machines en productiesystemen; - Selecteren en specificeren van elektrische componenten zoals motoren, aandrijvingen, sensoren en veiligheidsvoorzieningen; - Programmeren en configureren van PLC-systemen en HMI-interfaces; - Uitvoeren van berekeningen voor vermogensbehoefte, bekabeling en beveiligingen; - Begeleiden van de assemblage en testen van elektrische installaties; - Uitvoeren van inbedrijfstellingen bij klanten en oplossen van technische storingen; - Opstellen van technische documentatie en handleidingen.

Binnen deze functie krijg je volop mogelijkheden om je verder te ontwikkelen. Je kunt doorgroeien naar Senior Elektrisch Engineer waarbij je complexere projecten gaat leiden en junior collega's begeleidt. Ook is er de mogelijkheid om je te specialiseren in specifieke technologieën zoals robotica, motion control of industriële netwerken.
