The posting

Binnen onderhoud GHV (= Haven-Goederen-Vervoer) staat een elektronicien in voor:

  • Het onderhoud en de opvolging van de automatische sturingen (PLC, drives, meetsystemen)
  • Het uitvoeren van preventieve werken volgens het onderhoudsprogramma
  • Uitvoeren van verbeteringswerken (vnl. software, soms hardware)
  • Opzoeken van oorzaken van storingen en deze oplossen
  • Deelname aan het wachtsysteem Proces Instrumentatie en Programmatie

Zodra je aan de slag gaat, begin je aan een opleidingstraject om je wegwijs te maken in je nieuwe functie. Dankzij de interne opleidingsmogelijkheden bij ArcelorMittal Gent kan je je verder specialiseren of technische opleidingen volgen met het oog op promotie. Je bepaalt zelf je loopbaan.

ArcelorMittal Gent (vroeger Sidmar) is een maritiem en geïntegreerd staalbedrijf.

Elke stap van het productieproces vindt op ons terrein plaats, van de aanvoer van grondstoffen tot het bekleden van staal en de productie van lasergelaste vormstukken. Er vindt dan ook een vlotte kennisoverdracht plaats tussen onze verschillende afdelingen. Jaarlijks gaat er 5 miljoen ton vlakke staalplaat naar onze automobielklanten en naar de industriële sector, allerlei kwalitatieve toepassingen zoals huishoudapparaten en meubilair zijn dus gemaakt van ons staal.

Je vindt ons op de rechteroever van het kanaal Gent-Terneuzen, op ongeveer 20 km afstand van het centrum van de stad Gent. Met ongeveer 5.000 werknemers zijn we de grootste privéwerkgever van Oost-Vlaanderen. De kennis en de inzet van onze medewerkers vormen enkele van onze belangrijkste troeven. Zij spelen immers een onmisbare rol om onder andere de veiligheid, de kwaliteit en de productiviteit verder te verhogen.

  • Gebeten door aandrijftechniek of procesautomatisatie.
  • Opleiding Bachelor Elektronica of gelijkgesteld door ervaring.
  • Opleiding Bachelor Elektriciteit met affiniteit voor electronica.
  • Kennis van procesinstrumentatie is zeker een troef
  • Kennis van PLC- en drivesoftware (ABB, Siemens of Allen-Bradley) is meegenomen
  • Interactie met productiemedewerkers ikv ontstoringen
