Als Hardware Engineer Machinebouw ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en realiseren van de hardware voor geavanceerde logistieke automatiseringssystemen. Je werkt aan complexe projecten waarbij je de elektrische en besturingstechnische aspecten van transportbanden, hangbaansystemen en sorteerinstallaties voor jouw rekening neemt. Je bent betrokken bij het volledige proces, van concept tot en met de inbedrijfstelling bij de klant. Samenwerking met softwareontwikkelaars, projectengineers en de productieafdeling is essentieel om tot een perfect geïntegreerde oplossing te komen. Jouw werkzaamheden omvatten: - Ontwerpen van elektrische schema's en besturingskasten voor automatiseringssystemen; - Selecteren en specificeren van componenten zoals PLC's, frequentieregelaars, motoren en sensoren; - Programmeren van PLC-systemen en het ontwikkelen van besturingslogica; - Uitvoeren van FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) en SAT (Site Acceptance Tests); - Begeleiden van de inbedrijfstelling van installaties bij klanten wereldwijd; - Samenwerken met de productieafdeling voor de realisatie van hardware componenten; - Troubleshooten en optimaliseren van bestaande installaties; - Bijdragen aan innovatieve ontwikkelingen en continue verbetering van systemen.

Deze functie biedt uitstekende doorgroeimogelijkheden. Je krijgt de kans om je te ontwikkelen tot Senior Hardware Engineer of Lead Engineer, waarbij je meer verantwoordelijkheid krijgt over complexe projecten en het aansturen van junior engineers. Daarnaast zijn er mogelijkheden om je te specialiseren in specifieke technologieën zoals robotica, vision systemen of industriële netwerken. Het bedrijf investeert actief in de ontwikkeling van medewerkers door middel van trainingen, cursussen en certificeringen.
