Wil jij software ontwikkelen die niet alleen op een scherm verschijnt, maar rechtstreeks impact heeft op slimme, krachtige machines? Als Embedded Software Engineer werk je mee aan innovatieve voertuigtechnologie en zie je jouw software letterlijk terug in het eindproduct. Zowel junior engineers als ervaren developers krijgen hier de kans om zich verder te ontwikkelen.

Wat ga je doen? Als Embedded Software Engineer werk je mee aan de ontwikkeling van software voor geavanceerde mobiele machines. Je taken omvatten onder andere:

  • Ontwikkelen en onderhouden van embedded software in C/C++ voor voertuigcontrollers.
  • Meewerken aan nieuwe softwarefeatures en voertuigarchitecturen.
  • Ontwikkelen volgens V-Cycle, Functional Safety en Cyber Security-vereisten.
  • Documenteren van software en voertuigarchitecturen binnen een complexe multi-CAN/multi-ECU omgeving.
  • Samenwerken met collega's uit verschillende disciplines, waaronder software, elektronica en mechatronica.
  • Meewerken aan het volledige ontwikkelproces, van idee en ontwikkeling tot testen en praktische veldtesten.
  • Werken binnen een Agile ontwikkelteam aan klantgerichte oplossingen.
  • Gebruikmaken van moderne tools en technieken voor softwareontwikkeling.

Waar ga je werken? Onze klant is een internationale technologisch georiënteerde organisatie die innovatieve machines ontwikkelt voor een professionele markt. Vanuit de Belgische vestiging werk je samen met een groot en multidisciplinair team aan producten waarin software, elektronica en mechanica nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn.

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor of master in embedded software, elektronica, informatica of een vergelijkbare richting. Ervaring kan dit compenseren.
  • Je hebt minstens een 2-tal jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie.
  • Je hebt kennis van C/C++ en interesse in embedded en mechatronische systemen.
  • Ervaring met tools zoals Git, Azure, SVN of Polarion is een plus.
  • Kennis van J1939 is mooi meegenomen.
  • Ervaring met MathWorks-tools is een extra troef.
  • Je bent analytisch, nauwkeurig en sterk in probleemoplossing.
  • Je communiceert vlot en werkt graag samen in een multidisciplinair team.
  • Je bent hands-on, flexibel en klantgericht.
  • Affiniteit met landbouw, machines of voertuigtechnologie is een sterke troef.
