Als Embedded Software Engineer kom je terecht binnen een hoogtechnologisch productiebedrijf dat wereldwijd meetapparatuur ontwikkelt voor de metaalindustrie. Binnen deze rol ligt de focus op het ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van embedded software voor geavanceerde temperatuurmeetsystemen die functioneren in extreme productieomgevingen. De functie combineert softwareontwikkeling, elektronica en systeemintegratie in een technisch uitdagende context waar betrouwbaarheid en precisie centraal staan. Je werkt nauw samen met ervaren engineers aan innovatieve oplossingen die internationaal worden ingezet binnen industriële productieprocessen.

Wat ga je doen?

Embedded software development

  • Ontwikkelen en onderhouden van embedded software voor ARM Cortex-M4/M7 platformen.
  • Schrijven, testen en optimaliseren van softwarecomponenten in C.
  • Analyseren en vertalen van functionele vereisten naar performante software-oplossingen.
  • Integreren van communicatieprotocollen zoals SPI, Ethernet, USB en BLE.
  • Ondersteunen bij debugging, validatie en software testing binnen embedded systemen.

Systeemintegratie & innovatie

  • Samenwerken met hardware- en elektronica-engineers binnen multidisciplinaire projecten.
  • Meedenken over interface-specificaties en systeemarchitectuur.
  • Bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling van betrouwbare meetsystemen voor industriële toepassingen.
  • Werken binnen een technisch sterke R&D-omgeving met focus op innovatie en kwaliteit.
  • Actief bijdragen aan continue verbetering van ontwikkelprocessen en softwarekwaliteit

Wie ben jij?

  • Jij bezit een masterdiploma in elektronica, computerwetenschappen of een gelijkaardige technische richting.
  • Jij hebt ervaring of sterke interesse in embedded software development.
  • Programmeerkennis in C, feeling met elektronica en hardware-integratie en tools zoals GIT en Azure DevOps zijn pluspunten.
  • Analytisch sterk, leergierig en graag bezig met technisch uitdagende systemen.
  • Je beschouwt jezelf als een teamspeler die graag samenwerkt binnen een inhoudelijk sterke engineeringomgeving.
