Embedded Software Ontwikkelaar Je kunt helaas niet meer reageren. Jouw functie Onze webportal is het Internet of Things platform voor onze klanten. Om machines en installaties gemakkelijk en betrouwbaar met de portal te laten verbinden, maken we gebruik van onze eigen hardware in de vorm van ServiceGate industriële VPN routers. Deze routers zijn in eigen huis ontwikkeld. Jij gaat bij Remote zorgen voor de verdere ontwikkeling van de software en firmware voor de ServiceGate range en 3rd party embedded hardware. De ontwikkelingen op dit gebied volgen zich snel op, waarbij security, user experience en datavoorbereiding aan de Edge steeds geavanceerder worden. Kwaliteit en performance staan dan ook voorop. Logisch dat een gedegen software development lifecycle van cruciaal belang is. Waar nodig ondersteun je ook het proces van certificering van onze routers in landen als Amerika, India en Brazilië. Je werkt nauw samen met onze productieafdeling en helpt hen het productieproces te optimaliseren. Dit ben jij Als onze ideale collega beschik je over een hbo of wo werk- en denkniveau. Je voelt jezelf prettig in een technisch georiënteerde (werk)omgeving met veel dynamiek en doorlopende focus op innovatie. Dit vul jij aan met: - Een afgeronde opleiding in de richting van Elektrotechniek, Technische Informatica, Embedded Systems of aanverwant, waarin je zowel met hardware als met software bezig bent geweest; - Werkervaring in een soortgelijke functie of relevante stages; - Kennis en bij voorkeur ervaring met Linux, Rust, C++ en C; - Affiniteit met elektronica; - Ervaring met netwerkcommunicatie (MQTT, VPN, Wi-Fi, BLE en 4G) en/of Industriële Automatisering is een pré; - Een goede beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal in woord en geschrift; - Je woont in de omgeving van Akkrum, maar in elk geval in Friesland; - Je bent 32 - 40 uur beschikbaar; Upload je motivatiebrief (max 10 Mb) Remote Engineer - connect and control Re...
