Jouw rol als Engineer Systemen Als Engineer Systemen bij Vitters Shipyard werk je niet aan herhaling, maar aan één uniek zeiljacht: van het eerste schema tot en met de oplevering - een tot twee jaar lang met hetzelfde team, dat samen op één kamer zit. Je overlegt daardoor voortdurend: met de Projectleider, de Productieleider en de Productiemanager, met collega-engineers, en bij grotere componenten rechtstreeks met leveranciers. Je zit dicht op de bouw en ziet je eigen engineering daadwerkelijk aan boord tot leven komen. Voor wie houdt van eigenaarschap, van samen puzzelen in plaats van alleen, en van een oplossing die pas klopt als techniek, ruimte én de wensen van de eigenaar samenkomen, is dat zeldzaam. Wat je als Engineer Systemen gaat doen Je vertaalt het ontwerp van de architect en de systeemwensen van de klant naar werkende techniek aan boord: van schema tot in detail uitgewerkte leidingtrajecten, in Rhino en SOLIDWORKS. Denk aan systemen voor water, klimaat, koeling, brandstof en veiligheid - stuk voor stuk ingepast in een ruimte die daar niet vanzelf plek voor heeft.
