De maatschappij biedt op maat gemaakte verzekeringsoplossingen voor bedrijven via een netwerk dat meer dan 175 landen bestrijkt. In België legt de firma zich, vanuit haar kantoren in Brussel en Antwerpen met meer dan 90 ervaren collega‘s toe op de takken Brand, Aansprakelijkheid, Technische verzekeringen en Transport en nog tal van gespecialiseerde producten.

Voor hun afdeling Claims in Antwerpen zijn ze op zoek naar een Engineering Claims Handler.

Je functie:

  • Volledig beheer van eigen schadedossiers in technische verzekeringen (Alle Bouwplaats Risico's, Tienjarige BA, Machinebreuk) en op termijn in andere verzekeringstakken (Property en/of Casualty), vanaf de eerste aanmelding tot vergoeding en afsluiting van het dossier, al dan niet na het uitoefenen van een verhaalsactie:
  • Analyse van de elementen/feiten na schademelding, correct invoeren van nieuwe schadedossiers in een intern systeem op basis van gegevens ontvangen van de verzekerde en/ of makelaar;
  • Aanstellen en aansturen van een expert en een advocaat indien nodig en verdere opvolging in samenspraak met makelaar; o Interne rapportering van belangrijke schadedossiers aan de productieafdeling, de directie, hoofdkantoor en in house risk management team;
  • Proactieve opvolging van openstaande schadedossiers. Reserves continu up to date houden in functie van de evolutie van het schadedossier;
  • Na schaderegeling het beoordelen van het schadedossier op merites voor verhaal en evt. opstarten en proactief opvolgen van verhaalsacties t.a.v. aansprakelijke partijen.

• Beheer (coördinatie, opvolging, etc.) van schadedossiers m.b.t. lokale polissen in het kader van internationale verzekeringsprogramma’s. Het onderhouden van contacten met de collega’s wereldwijd om eventuele problemen te onderkennen met als doel het schadebeheer te optimaliseren;

  • Opmaak en bespreking van schadestatistieken ter ondersteuning van de productieafdeling met het oog op hernieuwing van polissen;
  • Regelmatig overleg met collega- schadebeheerders met het doel om kennis te delen en te vergaren;
  • Het geven van feedback aan alle betrokken collega’s i.v.m. interpretatie van polisvoorwaarden n.a.v. een schadegeval en eventuele voorstellen tot actualisering van polis zodat deze beter kan worden afgestemd op de activiteiten van verzekerde.
  • Je bent in het bezit van een Master- of Bachelordiploma, bij voorkeur als ingenieur.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands, Engels en Frans.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van bouwtechnieken of minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in schadebeheer in "Engineering lines".
  • Je kunt zowel in teamverband als zelfstandig werken.
  • Je bent nauwkeurig en analytisch.
  • Je beschikt over communicatievaardigheden (zowel mondeling als schriftelijk) en je bent servicegericht.
  • Je bent leergierig en staat open voor vernieuwing.
  • Je bent gemotiveerd en stressbestendig.
  • Je hebt grondige kennis van Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel,...) en IT-systemen in het algemeen.
