Ben jij een ervaren electrical engineer die klaar is voor de stap naar people management? Wil je je technische kennis combineren met het coachen van een team in volle groei? Dan is dit je kans om een nieuwe functie mee vorm te geven en dit engineeringteam naar een hoger niveau te tillen!

Deze dynamische KMO uit regio Sint-Niklaas levert totaaloplossingen voor industriële processen: van engineering en bordenbouw tot elektrotechniek, automatisering en inbedrijfstelling. Elk project is maatwerk en wordt volledig in eigen huis ontwikkeld.

Het bedrijf groeit snel en zoekt een gedreven leider die mee wil bouwen aan een sterke toekomst en een hecht team. Als Electrical Engineering Manager leid je een team van vijf engineers, waarbij je leidinggeven combineert met hands-on technisch werk. Je coacht het team en voert evaluaties uit, terwijl je klantwensen vertaalt naar concrete, haalbare oplossingen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Engineering Manager geef je richting aan het engineeringteam: je coacht, stelt prioriteiten en houdt planning en KPI’s strak in de gaten
  • Ongeveer de helft van je tijd werk je zelf technisch mee: van lay-outs uitwerken tot elektrische schema’s ontwerpen en processen verfijnen
  • Met regelmatige evaluatiegesprekken stimuleer je de ontwikkeling en groei van je teamleden
  • Je kijkt kritisch naar de werking van de afdeling en voert verbeteringen door waar je kansen ziet
  • In overleg met klanten onderhoud je vlot contact en vertaal je hun wensen naar heldere, haalbare oplossingen
  • Je hebt een technisch bachelor- of masterdiploma
  • Daarnaast heb je minstens 10 jaar ervaring in electrical engineering, bij voorkeur als doorgegroeide engineer of teamlead
  • Sterk leiderschap typeert jou: je coacht en motiveert je team en en gaat constructieve, uitdagende gesprekken niet uit de weg
  • Met een klantgerichte en commerciële mindset communiceer je vlot en overtuigend in het Nederlands
