Jouw toekomstige job

Als Enterprise Architect help je De Vlaamse Waterweg om meer regie, samenhang en toekomstgerichtheid te brengen in een complex applicatie-, integratie- en datalandschap. Je brengt bestaande toepassingen, databronnen, koppelingen, interfaces en afhankelijkheden in kaart en vertaalt die inzichten naar een doelarchitectuur en een concrete roadmap. Zo ondersteun je betere besluitvorming, sterkere datagovernance, hogere datakwaliteit en een meer beheersbaar digitaal landschap.

Je werkt organisatiebreed samen met business, informatiemanagement, ICT, data- en projectteams. Je actualiseert en bouwt architectuurmodellen verder uit, onder meer in Sparx EA (ArchiMate), en ontwikkelt principes voor applicatiearchitectuur en integratiearchitectuur. Je ondersteunt de evolutie naar een meer gestandaardiseerde integratieaanpak, met aandacht voor API-first, API-management, gegevensuitwisseling en het verminderen van ad-hoc koppelingen.

Daarnaast adviseer je management en directie over architectuurkeuzes, rationalisatie van applicaties, digitale investeringen en de randvoorwaarden voor veilige, schaalbare en datagedreven toepassingen, waaronder AI. Je helpt architectuurgovernance vorm te geven, ondersteunt architectuurreviews en brengt structuur in nieuwe initiatieven en wijzigingsaanvragen. Daarmee leg je mee de fundamenten voor een duurzaam, geïntegreerd en toekomstgericht informatielandschap binnen De Vlaamse Waterweg.

Jouw talenten en vaardigheden

Je hebt ruime ervaring met enterprise-, applicatie-, data- of solutionarchitectuur en begrijpt de samenhang tussen strategie, processen, applicaties, data en technologie. Je werkt analytisch en gestructureerd, brengt snel overzicht in complexe omgevingen en vertaalt technische inzichten naar heldere adviezen voor business en management. Kennis van TOGAF, ArchiMate, applicatieportfolio management, integratiearchitectuur, API-management, data governance en architectuurrepositorybeheer is belangrijk. Ervaring binnen de publieke sector, met ESRI, Azure, Power Platform, AI-architecturen of informatiebeveiliging is een pluspunt.

Jouw toekomstig team

Je komt terecht in een transversale rol binnen De Vlaamse Waterweg, organisatorisch ingebed bij Organisatieontwikkeling. Je werkt nauw samen met informatiemanagement, GIS, ICT, data- en projectteams en afdelingen die toepassingen ontwikkelen, beheren of gebruiken. Je bouwt mee aan een gemeenschappelijk architectuurkader dat richting geeft aan digitale initiatieven in de hele organisatie zodat haar strategie kan gerealiseerd worden.

Waar ga je werken

Je werkt in de kantoren van De Vlaamse Waterweg nv (Hasselt, Willebroek, Brussel, Antwerpen…), met mogelijkheden tot thuiswerk volgens de geldende afspraken. Er wordt verwacht dat je minimaal elke dinsdag aanwezig bent in Willebroek voor gezamenlijke fysieke overlegmomenten.
